Don't fall for the normalizing routine. Dems are shifting gears to their resistance strategies. This includes calls for "bipartisanship" and worming into power structures that would otherwise exclude them. Grace? Yes. But don't ever leave the fox alone in the hen house.
He's not normalizing anything and his political views haven't changed. He HATES mainstream media, hates lobbyists, and hates DNC leadership because he feels they are corrupt to the core. He's a true believer leftist that is more of classical Marxist style than anything else.
He's the type of leftist I can respect and I can converse with because he's a sane person.
Additionally, he's also the type you need to ultimately get under the umbrella in a long term right wing government. Leftists like him need to be used and controlled so funnel their radicalism into worthwhile issues. There is a lot more overlap between us and them than you think and we need to find those areas and people with whom we can work with. I'm not saying bipartisanship ala neocon/neoliberal methods or uniparty methods, rather we let them maintain their radicalism and find the areas where we have common ground.
Cenk cares about the working class and cares about people not being screwed by corporations. We care about these things too. I don't want to exclude them eternally because that creates a powder keg that can explode into the insane radicalism we see now and that we saw in the 1960s.
