All I know is that I saw more Democratic presidential ads on tv than I have ever seen in Texas.
Seems they weren't very targeted with their spending.
She believed those pundits who said they were going to turn Texas purple.....the same crap they've been spewing since the 1980s that still hasn't happened yet.

You have to remember.....she is very, very dumb.

Of those, Josh Shapiro is the smart choice. Gavin Newsom is probably second-best. They will likely end up going with either Buttigeig or looking for another DEI hire, though, judging by the fact that they appear intent on doubling down on identity politics.

I predict both Kamala and Walz will fade away. Kamala is no longer useful and showed herself to be the loser we all knew she was and Tim Walz is just plain weird.

Not the 1.1 or whatever they were claiming last week.

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/17/us/politics/harris-campaign-finances.html

Vice President Kamala Harris spent a remarkable $1.5 billion in her hyper-compressed 15-week presidential campaign. But in the days since losing to President-elect Donald J. Trump, her operation has faced questions internally and externally over where exactly all that cash went.

But think about it, she also had CNN, MSDNC, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. giving her free campaign ads and anti-Trump rhetoric 24-7. Imagine if you add up the value of those spots and add it to the $1.5 billion, and consider that she still got trounced. That's how bad of a candidate she was.

The balance of Trump's war chest will be used for midterm candidates since he is in his last term.

In this, she actually did her job perfectly. Her job was to let millions of potential voters into the country.

I just love she also managed to wreck the DNC finances too. Although the DNC Chair (who no one can even remmber his name) did the DNC no favors doing any fundraising.

So a broke and broken DNC going into 2026 midterms is a good thing. (Pardon the Martha Stewart reference.)
To be fair the DNC has been a shell for years now, it has no real power or money. The power with the Democrats comes from a small set of billionaires that fund the GOTV operations. That said they also rely on getting lots of small donors, some legit and some not. You have to remember that for a lot of Dems they are nonreligious and so they effectively "tithe" to the Democratic Party.

This story overall is something the GOP needs to lean into hard. They should find any type of corruption and magnify it. They should find some disaffected Dems and fund them and let them shout to the rooftops about how the Democrat Party takes the dollars people send in to money launder it to their friends or just flat out waste it. Certainly they did so during BLM, this is the same thing.

It will make fundraising much harder for the Dems but that's only part of the reason. It breeds hopelessness and mistrust which is even more effective. I want every time a Dem celebrity or influencer talks up a candidate for people to be thinking about how much they got paid. I want regular Dem donors to start thinking about how they can spend their money elsewhere to make an impact on issues they care about. In short I want the Dem Civil War to rage and for chaos to continue.

The Democrats have no leader now. This race was a huge blow to Obama who has been the defacto leader since he beat Hillary and prior to that it was the Clintons. Now the Democrats are back to the Pre Bill Clinton era with multiple factions fighting for power and lots of disorganization. The GOP needs to feed this.

BTW, the example of who will run in '28 shows this. Shapiro is probably the best option they have out there as the White Liberal Dem likes him and he does decent with blacks. He's someone the Progressives will hate though and he will push Muslims further away and Hispanics. Dems have a weird dynamic of having a lot of Jewish money and voters but also a lot of antisemites. Newsom is a hero of the Progressive whites but everyone else hates him. Whitmer is Kamala Part II and relies on the white liberal woman vote. The main thing is all of these groups collide and none of them appeal to working class voters really, maybe Shapiro some.

The Dems have to have the Civil War though and figure out who wins and then rebuild. It's going to be a painful process and in the meantime the window is open for the GOP to ram through just about anything they want. That's what is going to be so interesting to see if Trump can keep it together and really deliver. It's all for the taking right now.

What percentage was spent on "endorsements"? So pathetic.

The dems are lucky their low information base doesn't know this yet. But years is a long time for X and other channels to work their magic and get redpilled.

The DNC is a complete fraud. Brought to you by Obama that sold them out and took them way over the ledge

Serious question (blatant tell warning of agenda driven interlocutory to follow)-

Did anyone on F16 donate so much as a nickel to Harris or Allred, directly or indirectly?

Next question- to those who did but will never admit it, how stupid do you feel now?

Biden is a better politician than her. She is just stupid. He is now old/senile so both are currently bad choices.

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/17/us/politics/harris-campaign-finances.html

Vice President Kamala Harris spent a remarkable $1.5 billion in her hyper-compressed 15-week presidential campaign. But in the days since losing to President-elect Donald J. Trump, her operation has faced questions internally and externally over where exactly all that cash went.

Despite her significant financial advantage, Ms. Harris became the first Democratic presidential candidate to lose the national popular vote in two decades, ceding every battleground state to Mr. Trump.

Her cash-rich campaign spared no expense as it hunted for voters paying for an avalanche of advertising, social-media influencers, a for-hire door-knocking operation, thousands of staff, pricey rallies, a splashy Oprah town hall, celebrity concerts and even drone shows.

It was a spree that averaged roughly $100 million per week.

The frenzied spending has led to second-guessing among some Democrats, including whether investing in celebrity-fueled events with stars such as Lady Gaga and Beyonc was more ostentatious than effective.

Since her loss, the Harris operation has pressed supporters for more cash with desperate-sounding solicitations, stirring fears about post-election debts. "Is there anything we can say?" came one email asking for cash last Monday.

The biggest expense during the race was advertising. Between July 21 and Oct. 16, financial records show that the Harris campaign spent $494 million on producing and buying media, a category that includes both television and digital ads. The total sum through the election is said to be closer to $600 million.
The campaign spent around $900,000 to book advertising on the exterior of the Sphere venue in Las Vegas in the last week of the race, two officials said. There were drone shows in the sky before the debate in Philadelphia in September and at a Pittsburgh Steelers game in October.

She sucked at being VP
She sucked at being border czar
She sucked as the Dem presidential candidate
She sucked managing money.

The only thing she has not sucked at is sucking.

I join the others in seeing what you did there.

Only if it's a REAL debate and not ABC or some other leftist media "moderating it."

I hope the American people would demand a long form debate instead of slanted topics with timers and muted mikes. I'd like to see it in more of the Buckley-Baldwin vein.

It was hard to tell how much was Shapiro talking to Commie and telling her a big fat "thanks but no thanks" or how much was the Jewish angle to the morons on the far left. Can they overcome the latter when it's time in 2027? I would agree with you, they might still not have reined in those whackos so it will be interesting to watch.
