Same weapons, change of policy in regard to target limitations. Russia's recent attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure probably was the last straw.

Every day it becomes more apparent that Ukraine has been a money laundering operation for the kingmakers in the Democrat leadership since the Obama administration. It was a key financial piece of the fundamental transformation of America. This is why they freaked out when Trump won his first term and why they went after him so hard, up to and including impeachment. They had to undermine him and draw the attention away from Ukraine until they could get Biden in office. They picked him because he was neck deep in it as VP under Obama. He was complicit, so they knew would play along. When Biden's dementia caught up with them before the election, their only Hail Mary was Kamala, but it didn't work. Now their taking one last gulp of the goblet and leaving a mess for Trump to clean up.

Putin has repeatedly threatened to nuke us if we did things he didn't like. F16s were a nukable offense. How'd that go? Putin isn't nuking anyone because if he does his country ceases to exist. And what's the point of this entire venture if he gets his ass vaporized? Russia makes threats and exploits weakness. He plays these games of chicken because he thinks he's the only one with the balls to test it (and you can't blame him given Biden, Obama's, and Europe's prior demonstrations of weakness).

I have to admit this thought occurred to me. Biden announces this now as he has no political liability for announcing it. Trump then uses it as a negotiating tactic before it ever gets implemented.

I'm sure they don't care for long range missiles dropping on them, but this will have no impact to getting them to back off. Useless strategic value. If anything, just more escalation and more dead Ukes and more $$$ to the MIC
