They are tough to slow down or stop. There really isn't a great check against them.

I would like to see the DOJ vigorously prosecute everyone that broke a law during the 2024 election. There are plenty. And, go after the smallest front-line poll worker. Prosecute them mercilessly. Call it an attempted coup. Bankrupt these idiots. Throw them in jail. Deny bail. Ruin their careers. Let them see what the full weight of the federal government looks like when it is turned around.

The DoJ and FBI are in fact, enemies of the republic at this point in time. Some poor snowflakes are worried they don't have their 20 years yet, and don't have options. Good.

DOJ appears to be in the same path as DOD. Obama politicized DOD leadership and 10 years later we have a top echelon infested with political creatures driving a mission that doesn't align with what the American people expect from them and their institution. DOJ is on an identical path.
A fearful society is a compliant society. That's why Democrats and criminals prefer their victims to be unarmed. Gun Control is not about guns, it's about control.

It's really going to take wholesale change at the top several layers of the DOJ. They need to be dedicated prosecutors and not idealogues.

There's a second problem that is almost worse...the federal judiciary in DC. Those judges should not allow DOJ to get away with blatant violations of due process and handing out excessive sentences for trespassing and "parading.'

Seriously though, when you refer to the protest turned riot at the US Capitol on 1/6/2021 by a specific name, you're playing into the democrat strategy of pretending it was a significant event on par with Pearl Harbor or 9/11.

It wasn't. It was a protest turned riot that cost the federal government a whopping $1.5 million in damages.

Stop helping the democrats by calling it Jan 6th.

You don't think they were, for the most part, complicit? I think most were.

The standing/latches yellow boot two step by the black robes, and the summer of fire followed by the protest on 1/6/2021 leading to political prosecution have really damaged the judiciary in the eyes of anyone who follows politics at all.

Don't you know they were supposed to have lifetime jobs without accountability, I mean that's how it is for everyone in the private sector, right?

One of the things I am going to enjoy is the stories to come of these poor bureaucrats who have been living fat and getting benefits fearing they might lose those jobs. Most of us can't imagine with job security we can't fathom whining and crying that they might actually be held accountable and have to show they are doing their jobs and creating value or else they can be replaced.

Yeah, sorry you have to start to live in the same reality everyone else does. Your job is to provide service to the country, not for the country to provide you with a cushy job and lifestyle where you get to retire with great benefits.

DC has no business having the numbers of federal courts and jurisdictional priorities it does. It practically begs for corruption. Why wouldn't they just be part of the regional federal court system?
