The executive branch has been getting more powerful since Clinton and every President since has made it more so.

It was never intended to be an imperial Presidency, regardless of the party in office.

You could perhaps advocate for doing the right thing for the country, as I've been voicing during every Presidency since Clinton brought up the Line Item Veto.

The US government was meant to be inefficient. It's not supposed to be easy for one branch of government to change things.

Start here: US Constitution - Article 2 Section 1

Then here: Federalist 51 - James Madison

I guess you missed the past 4 years. The dem DOJ was pretty effective at law fare. Did they seem inefficient. No? Why? Because they tow the damn party line.

And there is no country. Just us and them.

Edit: And you think I have not read that? I am a Georgetown Law graduate. I know the damn constitution.

If Blinken, Milley, Garland, and Levine can get approved - then it's a complete sham.

There literally can never be anyone worse in those posts.
The greatest argument ever made against democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter.

Yeah, but Garland had experience running a large organization over seeing 100k people.

That pesky Constitution…

Libs need to be cool with appealing the 17th or dont bull**** us with citing the constitution while trump is in charge. You'd be all too happy with a popular vote till Trump slammed dunked on calm-a-la
You must be confusing me with another liberal. I've clearly stated I'm supporting President Trump if for no other reason than I respect the office. My sincere hope is he uses his term to unite the country.

The legislature has allowed this. They could easily stop it and do their jobs, but they have abdicated authority to the Executive and Judicial branches in order to minimize the reasons for people to vote against them. Instead, they spend most of their time on "investigations".
