Honestly, why would AOC care enough or want to change this? It isn't like she's looking at this election and thinking "oh no, America has spoken and i need to change my ways to keep my job". She's so hard-headed/nuts/safe, she's not changing anything and will continue her usual drama for the willing media spotlight. Its likely just a clerical error/coincidence.

I teach part time at a local college. I haven't had many students who seem to care about using alternate pronouns, but the few I've had have been women wanting to be gender neutral. I've taught quite a few gay men, but I haven't seen the pronoun issue really come up with men at all. And maybe it's just the space I'm in, it always seems to be women who have pronouns listed on email or social media, too.

I think someone turned off the Dem bot follower accounts. A large number of lefties have lost significant followers since the election.

Since they astroturf all of their high profile accounts to pretend that their opinions are popular, no one is sure what to do when left accounts only have real people as followers.

Interesting. I knew her constituents had been asked and had said some interesting things, but i didn't know it was from AOC herself. Maybe she's smarter than I thought which makes her more dangerous if she is a true believer in what she says and thinks if her side wins she will be in the group in charge and living in luxury while the rest of us peasants serve them.

I'm a few years from pulling the retirement trigger, but I'm eligible now. DoD employee.

I'm confident it won't happen (moreso now that Trump re-elected) but I've always said if pronouns were ever REQUIRED, I was going to list mine as "She/It." I'm a guy, btw.
