Elizabeth Warren is the latest to parrot this "talking pint" as some sort of real gotcha. I get that it came out earlier this week as a joke of sorts, but I still don't get it.

What is wrong with having a dept comprised of two co-leaders? How is that "inefficient"? Don't these government agencies/departments typically employ hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of people?

I guess maybe i don't get it. Can a liberal or CM (or anyone) explain it to me? Just seems like a hollow, humorless talking point.

I'd argue that it's the job of many people, they're spearheading together.

Govt wasteful spending has been a problem for 200 years. They obviously cant, but even if they focused solely on this, and worked 24/7, they'd have their work cut out for them.

It would be pretty amazing if only two people analyzed and cut the waste from a company with 11 millions employees and contractors and a $6-7 Trillion Annual Expense Sheet.

Most companies have departments and hire small army size third party contractors to analyze and cut corporate waste and redundancy.

Needless to say, the big government progressive politicians are trying to have a viral moment.

It's going to continue to not go well for them when the working class begin to hear and read how much money employees and contractors are making to do the same jobs 30 different ways.

I predict by May 2025 Elon Musk and Vivek will be on Joe Rogan for 3 hours having a conversation about department budgets and salaries. And lots of people will listen to all three hours on a topic that most people could look up in their own in the maze of government websites, but they will make it funny and entertaining and Independents and young people that have struggled to find jobs or have started to do okay financially but really get upset with the amount of taxes they are paying.

Elon and Vivek have the potential to make the case the conservative think tanks have spent 50 years and millions of dollars a year trying to make, but without anyone listening and paying attention.

Back in the good ol days of this forum we had some great threads on government spending. So I look forward to the new threads talking about all the things they will send out into the public .

I truly hope they aren't just getting the hopes up for all of us that have been beating this drum for decades.
