Kamala wanted Keith Ellison for AG. Kamala was going to appoint the American version of Julius Malema to AG.

Would Gaetz be my pick? No.

I personally wanted in order:

1. Ron Desantis (Florida Governor)

2. Ted Cruz (US Senator from Texas)

3. Mike Lee (US Senator from Utah)

4. Mike Davis (Article 3 Project)

5. Kris Kobach (Kansas AG)

6. Andrew Bailey (Missouri AG)

7. Jason Miyares (Virginia AG)

8. Raul Labrador (Idaho AG)

9. Eric Schmitt (US Senator from Missouri)

However, I am so thankful to Trump that he kept the American version of Julius Malema (Keith Ellison) away from being AG that I will gladly support Trump's pick out of appreciation.

I also like how Gaetz is very good friends with the President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele.

Gaetz constantly praises Bukele at every opportunity he gets. Gaetz even gave a speech in The Woodlands about how great Bukele is.

El Salvador has gone from the most dangerous country in the world to the safest country in the whole western hemisphere under Bukele's leadership.

Gaetz tells this great story about how on a bipartisan congressional trip, when Democrats were criticizing Bukele to his face, Bukele said one sentence that shut them up, "Those who have mercy for the wolves forsake the sheep".

The news is coming too fast today for me to keep up.

The appointment of so many non establishment picks is unprecedented in the history of American politics.

The second I got the news I started writing my thoughts. Didn't know someone else would post before me.

Just wanted to write this because as a Desantis Republican, whose candidate took some attacks from Gaetz during the primary, I know that Gaetz is going to get a lot of criticism, and I want to defend him.

The next few days the internet and media will be full of people attacking Gaetz without taking into context that your other choice would be Keith Ellison.

Gaetz has had his issues with Biden's DOJ...and has publicly *****ed about getting charged and then exonerated...it is lawfare pure and simple...

Gaetz is similar to Tulsi for DNI, she was registered to an air flight watchlist because she was a recalcitrant Dem who was always running off the plantation...

There is a pattern here...attaching candidates to positions around which they have passion...just like Hegseth... wrote a book about "War on Warriors"...wants to root out the "woke" in our military.

Love the Hegseth pick.

I was so shocked to hear about it.

Finally someone who cares about our active service members and veterans.

I loved the War on Warriors book.

Lloyd Austin is so disconnected. He said in multiple hearings that CRT and DEI are his top priorities.

Part of me almost regrets not seeing Ellison get savaged by members of the Senate Judiciary Committe during confirmation hearings. Ellison is not very bright and has Antifa/BLM riots support in his past. Doubt he would have ever been confirmed anyway.
