"PA democrats showed up at my apartment…
They have been calling me 3-5 times a DAY for a week to say my name was on some sort of list that indicated my vote might not have counted due to some kind of ID issue. I told them I didn't have an issue voting in person, but had recently moved so knew I would have to show my voter card to verify my address. They also asked me 10 times who I voted for, which seemed odd.. if I said I voted Republican would they have left me alone?
They insisted I call pa voters to verify my vote counted and provide the number. I do this (everything was fine), explaining to woman on the phone the call I got. She expresses frustration and feels the PA dems have been spreading misinformation and they're getting a lot of calls similar to mine. This was all yesterday.
TODAY THEY SHOWED UP AT MY APARTMENT banging down my door to insist to me that my vote didn't count. I told them I called the number they gave me and was told there was no issue. They insist I call AGAIN and want me to do it in front of them.. it was one of the weirdest experiences of my life. Listen I get it, I'm disappointed too but … this felt crazy.
Anyone else have this experience? I want to change my registration to independent if this is what's going to happen every election cycle. "
From the comments:
"Those would be the election deniers."
"blue maga."
"I was really looking forward to the texts and calls to stop post election but I'm still getting 3-4 a day of both to sign petitions and donate to groups and come volunteer for something…
It's done, the election is called, there's nothing we can do. I'm not giving you my time or money. Leave me alone!"
Oh how the turns have tabled...
