I absolutely love it. Vivek, Hegseth, Elon, Vance, all competent all loyal to Trump.

Trump brought in the blue blood well bred approved dc swamp monsters the first time, and they bragged about hamstringing him at every turn and flat out disobeying orders.

So you know what you get? In the words of the joker "you get what you ******* deserve". Trump isn't stupid. He's not going to go for the Mari's' or Miley's or Kelly's; he's getting people who at worst will do what he tells them to. I'm all for it

I'm sure the media is gearing up to interview everyone that is fired to show how evil this administration is. I guess the $35T in debt isn't more important.

I'm not a big revenge guy or a "heads will roll" guy, but all of the cabinet members and senior military leaders who bragged about willfully disobeying orders should be prosecuted, and immediately

Lets run Milley back thru for trial. He's retired now. He needs to have his retirement pay nuked. I believe that could be done with a court martial, despite his retirement:

Quote:

A court-martial is a criminal trial for members of the military who are accused of violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Acts that can lead to a court-martial include:

Serious offenses: Murder, rape, armed robbery, desertion, fraud, embezzlement, and other grave breaches of military law

Disobeying orders: Disobeying orders, refusing to carry out duties, or disrespecting superiors

Betrayal of trust: Betrayal of trust

Moral and ethical lapses: Moral and ethical lapses

Other offenses: Larceny, assault, drug-related offenses, being absent without leave (AWOL), maltreatment of subordinates, insubordination, and conduct unbecoming an officer and gentleman

You can't just sweep these type of acts be swept under the rug and left unaddressed. Especially where it comes to the military. You have a general bragging about committing insubordination and dereliction of duty. Purposely withholding information from the Commander In Chief. It undermines public confidence in the entire principle of civilian control of the military.

Not looking for vengeance at all, but there needs to be enough of these bad actors face consequences that it never happens again.

I agree 100%. But….I'm going to guess they quietly retire. Trumps plan for massive change will go a lot smoother and be accepted easier without having Nuremberg Trials II. Start massively cutting government size (Go Elon and Vivek!) and dragging people into court and a LOT of folks are going to view it as the country being taken over by a strong arm dictator. Perceptions mean a lot. Deals are going to be quietly made for the most part.

Competent, I agree with... loyal to Trump... I'd rather they know what they are doing, be conservative, and be loyal to the country. Trump is all over the place sometimes and is worst when he micromanages, so loyalty to him is should not be one of the most important things we are looking for.

In other words... if they are competent, they won't need to be loyal to Trump.

Probably not a very popular thing to say here, but I think more important than loyalty to Trump is loyalty to the nation and Constitution.

Granted, there is a massive overlay and I'm not talking about liberals and establishment *****s rationalizing their disobedience and resistance to lawful orders, but any government official must be loyal to the nation and its laws over loyalty to a man.

More importantly, they love America and are loyal to it before Trump. That's the unifying factor.

Deep down leftists know their party doesn't really have a huge love of country. They're angry and bitter about it and want to fundamentally change it. F that nonsense

There is rarely ANY accountability in the federal government. Every agency is incentivized to spend every dollar, not save dollars. Expand budgets, not cut budgets. Expand control, not innovate or save. The country has created a monster.

Trimming agency budgets is not enough. Time to eliminate agencies. Cut departments of Education. Energy, NLRB, HUD, Labor and National Science Foundation. Cut the EPA budget in half.
We may not always get what we want. We may not always get what we need. Just so we don't get what we deserve.

Why wouldn't your comment be "popular" here?
By far most participants in this forum would agree that for our elected and appointed government leaders, they need to be loyal to the Constitution and nation ahead of an individual.

However, being disobedient and interfering with the work of the commander and chief/elected head of the executive branch is complete opposite to being loyal to the Constitution and nation. For example, going against the orders of the president on behalf of a foreign enemy, like what Miley did, is treason.

Those in government need to be loyal to the Constitution and nation ahead of being loyal to a political party.
