What makes me the most optimistic about what Trump is doing

He is playing offense nonstop and hitting on multiple fronts simultaneously. It makes it very difficult for the Dems and media to focus on any one target. If they can't focus they have a very hard time stopping it. They can't get talking points together and they can't coalesce around any one thing.

I'm pleasantly surprised, I really didn't expect Trump to be this aggressive this fast. It's completely different from last time when he was such a big talker during the campaign and then spent a lot of the transition either running victory laps or trying to make nice with RINOs or Dems. He's not concerned with what the media is saying about him and he's doing his communication through direct outlets and environments he controls and sends surrogates to go fight with the Dems and media.

I can find some nitpick things to criticize but they seem so minor, he's getting the big stuff right and kicking ass. Hope he keeps it up and doesn't let up. The moment he starts worrying about how people view him or how this might offend someone or whatever he will start to lose. He just needs to keep on offense and keep driving.

I've been more optimistic about the future of our country in the last week than I have in decades, probably 1994 after we took the House and the GOP started the takeover here in Texas. We have a real window open for real change, I hope they can execute.

Trump announcements/things will slow down by end of week and the MSM will regroup for the Sunday talking shows and then carry on up until thanksgiving.break
Perhaps but he can just hit a different priority every day and show new announcements. The key is to keep moving and hitting and when they start to question you just go back to "We won and people wanted change". Then keep moving. It's actually what DeSantis did in Florida.

You have to remember that there are a lot of folks who just aren't political and don't care about issues, they just want leadership. Good or bad, they just want a leader. The Dems have actually been successful because of that but this is essentially Trump using their own tactics against them.

Agree completely. I haven't been this optimistic in 30 years. I love how Trump is continuing to use social media to announce his appointments and policy initiatives. Circumventing the legacy media and taking it directly to Americans unfiltered, just like he did during the campaign. I do believe he learned his lessons.

The first term was spent pretty much on the defensive, part of that being created by the illegal coup attempt orchestrated by Obama, Comey and their minions.

This term, being freed entirely from political concerns over reelection, is attack-oriented from the git-go.

January 20, 2025 cannot get here fast enough. I hope we see a bunch of Democrats in the unelected bureaucracy run like the roaches they are when the light first gets shined down upon them.

I thought he had figured out how to be President at the end of his first term. Now he's really ready.

Very well said. Trump has more than proven himself through this juncture. Need to keep him alive and let his talented team get to work. He is a CEO. And our government will reflect it. It's incredible!

I will add, the OP is correct on the media. They are reactionary at best. Their old narrative of Trump-Hitler is dead and they don't have a plan. They are trying mass deportations now, but I expect we'll stay on message. Crazy how the media has changed in one week.

I just worry they will do anything and everything in their power to make sure an economic crash or catastrophe happens under Trump.

They cannot have America wake up and restore herself like this. There are trillions of $$$ at stake.

They cannot afford to have Trump work out great for the country. And they can't afford people waking up and shifting right.

This is what I'm afraid of. Rats on a sinking ship realizing they're going down so let's set the MF'r on fire on the way out.

The mass deportation thing is falling flat already though because Trump ran on it and most people clearly agree with it. Even on the freaking View they are admitting that's what people wanted and that's what they are going to get. Now he just has to actually do it.
