It's insane to me that any company makes political statements in a capitalistic market. How do you voluntarily damage your bottom line? I've never understood it. I'd be livid as an investor.

Vail Resorts is FAR more liberal than Aspen Ski Co. Regardless of politics, Highlands and Snowmass both blast.

The only thing I can think of is that these companies vastly overestimate how much of their business comes from leftists. The media would have you believe that 80% of this country is extremely liberal. I could see companies falling for that lie.

We love skiing Copper Mountain. The ski in ski out homes in Lewis Ranch can't be beat in location, quality, and price. March 2025 will be our 6th spring break there. We were there in 2020 when everything got shut down mid spring break due to Covid. They were one of the few resorts that absolutely held out and stayed open until the Gov of CO shut down every ski resort. They're owned by POWDR and after that we are very loyal! Plus Copper is amazing skiing, for people that go to actually ski and the restaurants and shops aren't a big deal. Checked out their Facebook page just now, not a peep about the election.

Crazy how something as simple as skiing can be turned political. We've gone to Colorado resorts for years. Colorado is a lib state - blah, blah, blah. We just got there to ski and drink. Politics never really came to mind all these years. Libs can **** up anything.

It annoys me how sanctimonious and hypocritical these virtue signaling leftists are.

They presume by default they possess all the virtues merely by claiming them and never bother to look at the outcomes and results of ideological policies they push. They regularly violate or undermine practically every virtue on his list.

This is likely because of the amount of illegals who work at ski resorts. Some are there on work programs. Many are illegal.

If you ski a lot. Many foreigners work the lifts, cafeterias, tickets, etc. most skiers don't realize more of these folks are illegal than you might think.
