Seen her on Fox News a handful of times. Not only is she smoking hot, she is smart & very quick on her feet. Basically the complete opposite of KJP
Yeah, Fox is definitely the lion's den. There is a reason you haven't seen her on the Sunday shows where she is up against leftist propagandists, looking hot and yelling doesn't work there. You have to be prepared and reasoned. She's great at rallies and getting people fired up but that's not what this job is.

It's staggering to me that people aren't more concerned about this, Trump really needs a strong communicator who is smart and knows the game in this role. He has so many good options to choose from.
as a lawyer for Trump I am going to assume she's prepared and reasoned with her responses
She's never won a case for him, and have you seen her in front of the press? It's like she never even studied law. But hey...tits, amirite?
This. Seriously look at her legal track record with Trump and prior to Trump. This has Scaramucci level disaster potential.
it's the possibility of press secretary. Not a Supreme Court Justice. Jeez. I'm not even saying I'd be for, or against her. My point is I'd venture to guess she would do just fine.
She is the voice of the Administration to the press and the person that will be on TV and Social Media probably more than anyone else in the Admin so yeah, just put whoever in the job. Cool. Some of us still remember how Sean Spicer being incompetent got Trump's first Admin off to such a rough start.

We have some great options to choose from, I hope he picks well. If it is Habba so be it but damn that seems like an unnecessary risk.

You realize Trump had the choice of lawyers who were infinitely better, more educated, more seasoned, and more everything than her, but when it's what's on the inside, of her bikini body, that counts, those other lawyers can't hold a candle to that.

Also, for the position, she would be eye-candy piece-of-ass to look at while she goes scorched earth with what she says. It's straight from the Fox News talking-head playbook, and it's a playbook that worked.

She'll be fine.

Ummm because the leftist shows never have Republicans on, and if they do, they're the left leaning ones. She certainly isn't that. The only Republicans on the left wing media, are the ones who are there full time like Scott Jennings on CNN, who has to argue nightly on a panel against 4 liberals, 3 of which are race baiting black women.
Jennings would be a great choice but that's also not true, Republicans go on those shows regularly but few can do well on them. The point is this job isn't one where you get to talk to supporters all day and get them fired up, it's a job where you get to argue with 30 MSM reporters that hate you and are trying to trip you up with every question.

Yeah, as an attorney in a court of law, she's simply talking to her supporters all day every day when arguing cases.

KJP did a bang up job. Until you realize that the media is going to give Trump negative coverage (I believe to the tune of 98%) no matter who is up there, I'm not sure what to tell you. Stop being butthurt because you wanted somebody else, it doesn't matter at all. Kaleigh was great, but guess what? The media still twisted their narratives and false propaganda on a daily basis.

Yeah, as an attorney in a court of law, she's simply talking to her supporters all day every day when arguing cases.
She's a crappy attorney though who only got into law because she failed in the fashion industry and only worked for Trump because she happened to live in Bedminster and showed up there and Trump saw her tits. Her law degree is from a joke of a school and she was way out of her depth in the cases she argued for Trump.

There are so many choices here, I really hope this isn't the one he goes with. I don't hate her I just don't think this is the right job for her at all. I also don't know how anyone who has heard her speak sees her as some intelligent and quick on their feet debater unless you think the same of Sean Hannity. Screaming over people and yelling MAGA is great for the base but not for the press.

No, I just have a long memory. The arguments for her sound exactly like the arguments for him at the time. Big and loud "bulldog" that screams at people and loves Trump or at least loves the attention that being around Trump gives them. She's literally been in politics for about 2 years and never done anything remotely like this job.

I'm not saying this is the end of the world or that the Press Secretary is the most important person. They do matter though and I'd like to see Trump have someone who is really good at their job communicating for him. So far the arguments for her are she has nice tits, she has a law degree from a joke of a law school, and she yells MAGA a lot. I just think we can do better because if I were the Dems she is certainly who I would choose. Can't wait for the rumors that she got the job because she was having an affair with Trump as well.

Anyway, nothing is official so hopefully this is just a passing rumor. Leavitt is the much more logical choice since she is essentially doing the job now and doing it very well.

I have seen her speak several times and not just on Fox, and not once have I seen her yell over people. Once again, I'm not sure how many times I need to say it before it sinks in, but Trump will get 100% negative coverage from all media outlets sans OAN, Newsman, and Fox no matter who is Press Secretary. I'm not butthurt but I do recognize a mistake when it's being made. Also if you don't think Kayleigh and Sanders were helpful to Trump over someone like Spicer I don't know what to tell you.

Again, how were they helpful? Just because they said what you wanted them to and you're afraid that Habba is going to go off on some unhinged tirade, which she hasn't come close to doing so far. Stop acting like a paranoid lib
It's helpful because some people actually do listen to the WH Press briefings besides leftists. You are actually the paranoid one here by saying it doesn't matter. If you have an effective communicator that is smarter than the people asking the questions it helps, worst case it gives them no ammunition to use against you but in the end it actually does change minds both on the HIll and in the public. Not everyone is a hard core partisan.

If you think Habba is a great communicator we will just have to agree to disagree there. She mostly has done super friendly interviews or campaign events. Her main case she was involved in was where he lost against Carroll, she isn't a criminal attorney she's a mediocre civil attorney. Tell you what though. Here is an interview she gave with Major Garrett that was quite civil and he let her talk without interruption, he actually treated her very fairly quite surprisingly. Try and count the "uhs" and hesitations and how many times she was trying to punt out of questions. Maybe you think this is great but I am not impressed.

Great eye candy but I don't love it. She's not that smart or quick and relies at yelling over people. She's not in Kayleigh or Sarah H's league. Those two were just so damn smart and prepared and quick on their feet.

Kayleigh or Megyn Kelly would be phenomenal. This might be interesting….hopefully not in a bad way. I admittedly don't know much about her. Hopefully she is a highly intelligent bulldog.
She's a bulldog but not highly intelligent. Notice everyone is talking about her being hot. That gets you nowhere in the WH Press room. The vultures are merciless and unfair and you better have your crap together or you will just be a distraction who causes problems not someone who solves them. Love to be wrong though.

She basically went to night school for her law degree and before working for Trump had never done any legal matters of significance. She is way out of her depth in DC. There can be a job for her but I really hope this isn't it. This isn't showing up to Trump rallies and having the crowd cheer for her for being hot and pumping up Trump.
That bolded part applies to Kayleigh Mcenany as well. We're men. Every thread ever created devoted to her devolved into an immature "hotness" discussion around her...sometimes involving her sister.

Her physical appearance is all most of us know about her. And it's nice.

I'm all for having hot spokeswomen. I just like smart and articulate ones that eviscerate the left. Lots of jobs you could use Habba in besides Press Secretary where she could be far more effective.

Me saying it doesn't matter equates to me being paranoid? What planet are you posting from? The questions are asked by media lackeys, they're written down beforehand by the execs of CNN & MSNBC. No matter how their gotcha questions are answered, they're going to spin them however the hell they want. It seems as if you haven't been paying much attention the last 8 years.

No doubt it's a stacked deck but those who can do well against it are rock stars. Sanders is now Governor of Arkansas because of it. Kayleigh is one of the biggest people on Fox and could likely do just about anything in politics if she wanted. Having a good communicator helps. A bad communicator becomes a distraction that causes problems like Spicer and Scaramucci. Not sure why this is so hard to understand.

I also think that a good communicator can break through at times, thus why I think you saying it is all a fixed game and essentially hopeless is paranoid.

Trump is kicking ass, just don't like mistakes. Habba would be a mistake.

Ok, so how does you vilifying Habba before a) she even gets the job and b) if she does, before her first day make any sense? You're claiming that she's unable to handle the media without even her seeing her do so. You're acting like Kaleigh was going on all of these liberal networks destroying libs before she was Press Secretary, which simply isn't true.

She was on Trump's campaign team. What reason did she ever have to go on CNN or MSNBC whatsoever?

Geez, photoshop much? Look around her waist/elbows. The picture blurs and the pool house and umbrella poles bend inwards towards her. Someone definitely tightened up that waist for her

I wish he'd bring her back. Unfortunately she "turncoated" him, got thrown under the bus and now will never be considered. She was fantastic. One of the better appointees of the first term

She's making too much money at Fox News

Not "villifying" her I just don't think this is a good spot for her. I posted the CBS interview above. She doesn't speak particularly well, seems unprepared, and repeats herself a lot. Two years ago she was a lawyer you found in the phone book essentially. That's ok and I think she has talent but Press Secretary just doesn't make sense to me. Her background was in the fashion industry not politics, all of this is very new to her. Doesn't mean she will fail but she's going to have a massive learning curve at best.

Kayleigh went to Georgetown for her BS and spent time at Oxford and then eventually went to Harvard Law where she graduated in the Top 1% of her class. She was a paid analyst on CNN and then became Spokesperson for the RNC prior to being Press Secretary so actually she WAS on liberal networks and actually being paid to destroy libs prior to being in the job.

If it's Habba so be it, I hope she does well. It's just with so many choices this is an odd one.
