I agree with what you are saying, but they both blew whatever momentum they had. Palin could have overcome the McCain loss, if she had been smarter

They were certainly crying several months back, so damn many TDS and CMs butt hurt over Trump winning the primary. I am sure they aren't going to say much now, because they were wrong about Trump winning.
Note - I personally was wrong. I thought Desantis would do better and too much hate for Trump. But, once he became the nominee, that was OK by me. However, there were plenty bellyaching about it for a long time.
