While I also prefer The Hill (a Bellville Staple going all the way back to when it was called Schroeder's Malt 'N Burger), Trump burger is not at all suckage.

This. So many places ignore the buns, and just think of them as two slices of bread to hold the good stuff together.

The hill actually uses good tasting bread, and imo that's one thing that separates them from many burger joints.

ETA: I never tried Trump Burger, but next time I'm back in state & near Bellville, I'm gonna give it a try.

I'm sorry, but the food is atrocious.

The Kamala - A foot long hot dog covered in chili, cheese, and onions.

It's long, thick, and sloppy...Just like Kamala likes her wieners.

We aren't talking about a Michelin 5 star restaurant. It's a VERY low bar........better than McDonalds/Burger King but not as good as Whataburger.

And that alone is worth the experience.

I lived in Hempstead for over decade and at at the Hill three times after many many people swore it was good. It sucked the first time...and the second time...and the third time. I can't give it any more chances. It's one of those places that the locals think is good because there isn't anything else to eat. Genuinely sad to hear Trump Burger is worse than The Hill. Buy some frozen 6 month old HEB patties and jam them between two squashed buns, throw on some yellowed and wilted lettuce, and you've made the Hill's Burger...except it a slightly higher quality for less money.

Their bread is good, problem is they do not heat or toast it.

Food was average, restroom was disgusting and they were understaffed with a drug addict running the cash register.

Local resident and Trump burger is good and so is The Hill. Trump Burger haters must contribute to the liberal tears in the lemonade.

We really liked Trump Burger the first couple of times we went. The third time we went the food was not as good. I think they changed the bread. It was really good the first couple of times but then it seemed just okay.

The Trump cheeseburger at Angry Elephant in B/CS is great. In fact the menu says "So good you will be tweeting about it at 1 am".

Other good ones are the CNN Beyond Burger which is made with beyond "#fakemeat".

Haven't tried Trump Burger. The Hill was good, not great.

But on the rare occasion I find myself in Bellville, I'm headed to the Meat Market. That place is fantastic for summer sausage. And habanero sausage. Their bacon is pretty good too.
