Paxton is just asking for trouble.

Paxton has had enough investigations and negative press in red Texas. I know everyone likes that he sues people but Washington would eat him alive. Any scandal in his past, and there are several, will be played on CNN 24/7.
We only have 4 years. I'd rather avoid distractions when possible. Paxton would be a distraction.
Trump should simply not hesitate to take advice or chat with any the convoluted confirmation process bars. Talk to Paxton as need, but BoydCrowder is probably right here. They would use it to stymie the needed house cleaning any new AG of 47's needs to be.

Well my resume doesn't include uniparty rino shill so yes my resume is much better
On a side note, your kraken handle combined w you doubling down in favor of establishment scum after what the American people mandated is adorable
Unquestionably, Mike Lee and Ted Cruz are the two best constitutional law scholars in the history of the US Senate and it is not even close.AggieMD95 said:
Mike Lee is fine. Either one
Dumb then?AggieUSMC said:
Not buying it. Cornyn may be an establishment RINO but he's not stupid.

A globalist is someone who believes that economic and foreign policy should be planned in an international way, rather than according to what is best for one particular country.
That's not what the rumor mill says. Cornyn would block him. Of course even just as sitting Senator from the same state, Cornyn can put a blue card hold on Paxton.Im Gipper said:
If Trump wants Paxton (who would be a fine choice) no Senate leadership will oppose him. Not even Brisketboy!

The "rumor mill" says lots of crazy stuff that isn't remotely true! Related, just today, "Cruz is supporting Thune!! Oh no!!"
Its no secret Cornyn doesn't like Paxton. But this rumor he would block Trump right from the gate is hilariously wrong.
Paxton went to law school at Virginia. Not a "Baylor Lawyer." Baylor undergrad? Ok.The Kraken said:
Paxton has way too much baggage. Certainly there are plenty of better choices out there than that Baylor ******.

This isn't about winning a Twitter fight. It's about finding someone who has the intellect and tenacity needed to do the toughest job in Washington. We need a work horse, not a show horse. That's not Paxton.Bob Knights Paper Hands said:The Kraken said:

I was not supportive of Paxton for AG, but the more I hear the right people squirming, the more I'm beginning to come around on the idea.
