With the popular vote too tells me the overwhelming citizenry of our great Republic has shoved the woke movement to the curb.

Thank God.

It's only temporary. Those clowns will be back, kinda like the Hydra thing in Captain America. We have to find a way to drive a stake through its heart and permanently remove that cancer from society.

I'm hoping the increases in minority voting will continue to trend up and lead to an end of identity politics. It's obvious it has backfired but I'm not confident the left is wise enough to see it. I'm done even considering the left's positions until they learn to act like well adjusted adults.

I think it was a popularity contest. Harris is totally unlikeable, Trump does have a few redeeming characteristics.

In election terms where a percentage point or two is huge it was pretty decisive, but in practical terms the country is still, and will continue to be, half and half.

But it obliterates their narrative that a majority of Americans agree with their policies. Winning an electoral college victory and a majority of the popular vote leaves them no leg to stand on. And that stark reality is driving many of them mad.

I have options:

1. The 3.4M claiming they will move out of the country. Good! Go then!
2. Helicopters to help move it along.

They're no longer dems. They're Marxists doing Marxist things and when that means they're doing corrupt or illegal things they must be punished, or they'll keep doing it.

Yes, but in this election, Trump moved black men and Hispanics off the Dem plantation.

Is that a sea change or a one off?

Time will tell.

I've always believed a Trump victory is a bump in the road. But the basis for that belief was locked in demographics. The left is still all in on everything that lost them the election. If that remains, we have a better chance of winning again.

Same. The saving grace I've posited has been that the Hispanics are our only hope out of this. They proved that to be directionally accurate this election. If we can siphon just enough sane blacks, then you have yourself a way forward.

As a guy coming into his 60s I thought I'd spend these last decades watching this country's slow and stupid descent into failure with evil taking the W.

SO glad to have a more interesting show. I'm praying it's revival and renaissance. Anyway that's the best thing as far as I'm concerned. The general shake-up. the popcorn

Has it occurred to anyone, how troubling it is that about ten to twenty percent of the registered voters fall into the uncommitted basket until each Election Day? What does this really signify?

Some would say these are free, objective thinkers, but I suspect it might be a group of people who really hold no convictions about good policy. I try not to worry too much about it!

I think enough Dem strategists realize woke isn't a winning hand for the majority of America

That's why they tried to distance Harris from her past woke crap. Suddenly she's pro gun and you didn't hear a peep about trans rights or Palestine from them in the months of Sept/Oct.

It's the latter. If you can't figure out if you support the Dem platform vs the Rep platform then you are either stupid, not informed, or apathetic. Or some combination of all.

It needed to happen. The left needs to have happen to them so that they can, hopefully, rebuild into something that can co-exist and work with the right. The best decades we've had in the past fifty years were when we had two sides that, even when they didn't get along, still worked to get sh*t done, and things got done.

Until the left gets to that point, they need to stay lost in the wilderness.

I think it's more along the lines of they don't pay attention until maybe very late in the cycle and/or simply aren't focused or interested in politics . It's kind of a "stick your head in the sand" type of approach but they are perhaps unaware of how much our lives over the longer term are impacted by the political trends.

The way to do that is to maintain the sidelining of the Propaganda-Indoctrinators. As long as enough people think of them now as the pied pipers to ruin they are, then like the proverbial snake-oil sales-- they won't sell as much. How many today answer the Nigerian bank-deposit scams?

That's the answer. Ingrained dismissal.
