Extremely low chance he gets offered the AG position and even lower that he'd accept if he did. He has numerous health problems and already has a lucrative career on the radio and does not want the BS and stress that a stint in the AG office would bring.

I met him at a "Christmas" party in Dallas 22 years ago. He and everyone there were Jewish. The home owner whispered to me that he was a conservative. He was nice.

I've heard Paxton's name as well, have mixed feelings about that, as I thought he was in line for a governorship run coming up. Maybe he really does see his future in DC though.
