There is a smallish chance DeWine will pick Vivek to replace JD Vance in Ohio. Now, if that happens, in my fantasy world Ramaswamy could be majority leader.

Yeah, won't happen of course and he doesn't 'know the system' in the senate etc. but it would be epic and this is a message board so, whatever, fun thought exercise.

You have to have someone that can get Susan Collin's and Lisa Murkowski on board for important votes. This isn't about who the base likes the most this is about actually being able to pass an agenda with just a handful of votes to spare

I'd give him a B- overall. He was very good on judges, couldn't get John McCain to play ball on ObamaCare though. Surely there was some deal to be made with McCain there, I believe.
