Once again we have the age old question - is it stupidity or corruption at work here? As of the time of this OP, only Arizona and Nevada are still up in the air.

"This year we do expect that it will take between 10 and 13 days to complete tabulation of all of the ballots that come in, but we ask for the community's patience," Jennifer Liewer, Maricopa County deputy elections director, said during the press conference. "We want to make sure that this is a secure process but we also want to make sure that it is an accurate process."
For Democrats it sure is.Lance in Round Mountain said:

only down 60k with 2.2 million cast so far. only 60% of the ballots tallied so far. 4 of the 5 remaining house seats in AZ are heavy R districts. the 40% of ballots not tallied are election day in-person, so even the Maricopa co ones favor R.Tanya 93 said:
Kari Lake is losing.
What would be the point in stretching this out if she is already losing, significantly?

She is not liked here at all. I voted for her because Gallego is dangerous but Mark Lamb was the candidate Trump should have gotten behind.
you wish she took the bribe and dropped out? why?IDaggie06 said:
just a reminder that kari lake NEVER should have run for this senate seat.
Can nudge it somewhat but cannot mandate the states do something. But I against the federal government even trying to nudge it because that involves a carrot, i.e. tax payer funds. If anything, I'd rather several federal statutes repealed, such as HAVA. W. passed that in 2002 and it was just a giant giveaway to the states to "improve" their elections. Look how that has worked out.ts5641 said:
I think 4 states don't have their **** together enough to count votes in a few hours. Even Michigan and Pennsylvania managed to do it this year.
There needs to be massive electoral reform.
Can that be done from the federal level or is it only the individual state that controls that?
Kari Lake has a chance of winning. We will be streaming TONIGHT to go over all of this.

There are over 1 million votes outstanding and she's currently only down 59,000 votes. Lots of RED votes left to count.
Trump expanding his margins which could carry Kari.
Gallego has experience- he's a US rep running for US senate. ..but he voted in lock-step with Pelosi in the house and is all about that radical wide open border.PatriotAg02 said:
What's wrong with Lake? And how is Gallego getting votes on a Red ballot?
She was. She won the Governor's race in 2022. I watched all of mini-trials and heard the computer experts tell the court exactly what happened. Even Maricopa's "expert" Ryan Macias indirectly acknowleged he was the architect of changing the ballot definition files...while "working" for then Sec of State Hobbs.Quote:

I think the knock on Lake is lack of experience. She was a newsroom anchor in her career; probably a democrat for long time previously before she saw the light. trying to break into politics. The pravda narrative on her is she's a nutbar loon because after all the shenanigans in maricopa co in the 2022 gubernatorial race, she became an "election denier" (she's probably right though).. but every time I see her speak, she's awesome.
