Maybe more of the popular vote but I don's see how he could have stolen the deep blue states that Kamal won from an EC perspective. Every state she won also are states that don't require voter ID.

With such a weak candidate, it's a wonder that Trump didn't win by even more. There's certainly an element of people who voted against him not because of policy because they simply didn't like him as a person.

DeSantis represents the person who espouses a lot of the same policy but is much more likable.



DeSantis sure better gather some people that hate him. Dems are full of hate for anyone that is an outsider and doesn't need money. They know they'll never be able to gain control of him. If you don't generate hate you can't win.

I expect he would have won, maybe by even more, but probably would not have had the coattails. And the lib meltdown would not have been so glorious.
