All of this crap needs to end. Vote in person. Count the votes on the day of the election. If mail-in then that needs to be delivered and counted before election day. All this crap just gives them a chance to manufacture votes until they win.

2 weeks of in person voting, and mail in limited to properly qualified absentees (elderly and those who will be out of the county, who request a ballot). That should be the rule everywhere, but, in a federal system, I'm not sure that we will ever get there. We might see Congress crack down on the late ballots, but I don't think that's what is holding up the count here--they just don't process those mail ballots at any sort of speed even if they were in hand on Election Day.

Yes I'm aware of the law. The elected officials have done the math on pace and don't think they will be done. They've been in touch with state officials on pace and timeline. They've been told even if takes longer the state will work it out.
