If I read this right, this county in Arizona is running 80/20 for Lake and there's 59K more votes to count. That would come close to erasing Gallego's lead. Of course there are probably other counties that favor him.

Yavapai county posted 2,836 ballots about 30 minutes ago. It's a GOP stronghold so good batch for Lake. She net 1,772 votes.

Lake: 80.2%
Gallego: 17.7%

Gallego leads Lake by 50,802.

Yavapai estimates about 59k ballots are remaining.

But if these are ED votes, and not mail in (and it's my understanding that all of the MIBs have been counted as they do those first in AZ), then it is quite possible she rallies...

That's interesting to hear that It is only election day ballots that are being counted now. Yesterday, someone was reporting that election day ballots are counted, and all that has left are mail in ballots.

Maricopa said they would post their election day in-person ballots first along with whatever pre-existing mail they could get counted on election day.

A not insignificant number of people brought their mail ballots to the actual polling place on Election Day, so that could be where the confusion is. These ballots are not counted yet. They are election day mail drop offs that have to be processed.

Recurring problem with Maricopa County. Instead of giving daily updates, they cwn't or won't because they do not want to know how many more ballots are outstanding. Runbeck knows the precise number of mail in balots that are otustanding since they printed and sent all of them out.

Let's go back to 2020. Runbeck also had the mail in ballot contract for Fulton County GA. The morning after the election Raffensperger was on a cable show saying the number of ballots remaining to be counted was of an insufficent quantity to change the result from Trump to Biden. yet a few hours later, suddenly the number of outstanding and uncounted ballots suddeny increased something like three fold or more.

Either way, she keeps getting closer with each update...

If he's up 50,000 right now, then it would be a 14,600 deficit.
