There are several states she won where ID is required, but not photo ID. If the tweet had said "Photo ID", it would have been accurate.Whitetail said:txaggie_08 said:
Also not true, so maybe not so relevant
I just fact checked it with a colleague in Connecticut. He said he got ID'ed. So my one data point debunks the claim.

Has AP not yet called Nevada for Trump? It's over, my wire service friends. Even the Culinary Union can't save Harris, and the union's efforts probably won't save Jacky Rosen, either.

I have to assume that the Nevada senate race is going to a recount. It may be a while. I don't know that there are enough votes out there for Lake to make up the difference, although she did make up ground in the early morning hours. I don't know what's left out in Arizona.aezmvp said:Has AP not yet called Nevada for Trump? It's over, my wire service friends. Damn. Brown might get in and it's not over for Lake yet either. House is still trickling in with what looks like a 9 vote edge. Time to start cleaning house.
She doesn't have to be. She can no show and let the Senate President Pro Tempore handle the cerification if she desires.LMCane said:
The best thing about this calendar is that to certify the election of Donald Trump:
Vice President Harris must be in the seat and hand over the victory to Trump
I can't remember, but I assume Gore had to do this with Bush?LMCane said:

Per CNN's website, only 63% of the expected vote is in in AZ? The lead has been slowly shrinking, with I believe mostly ED votes to be tallied, which skewed Republican.twk said:I have to assume that the Nevada senate race is going to a recount. I was 10 years old for the Bicentennial. The only thing I really remember is watching something on TV showing a lot of sailboats and feeling like something really cool was happening.will25u said:
And now we get to see what Trump has in store for The United States of America's Semiquincentennial(250th) Birthday! (Yes... I had to look that up!)
Oh what a party it will be!
Still a decent number of outstanding ballots in Philly, I believe.twk said:
I don't know what's holding up the call in Pennsylvania, unless it is mail in votes. I would tend to think that making up a 31,000 vote deficit would be a tall order for Casey.

Ralston's saying NV is over (president and senator seat), put two more in the win column for the good guys.
well there is still a gender gap for non-white and urban women...aggiehawg said:
And the gender gap never materialized. White surburban women voted for Trump 50% to 47%.
At 3:30 p.m. on the day after? It would have to be provisional ballots, mail in, or something of the sort.SwigAg11 said:Still a decent number of outstanding ballots in Philly, I believe.twk said:
