John Fetterman sat down with Rogan. Looks like the politicians are going to flood to Rogan because they see how his numbers make a difference.

Fetterman is a different dude and talks about his issues and stuff. He's got lingering issues with the stroke. And is hard to follow. Rogan works with him like a special needs person.

I haven't listened, but Fetterman has actually been somewhat sensical recently.

I'm not saying he isn't a moron, but I have been pretty shocked at how centrist he has been on a few issues. I still can't get on board with the sweatpants and him getting voted in as a vegetable, but he isn't the most hated democrat by any stretch.

He talked about the clothes thing. First though Rogan had to ask the question twice before he understood so definitely the vegetable thing is real but he gave an honest response. Said he's a big dude and can't afford custom suits (true or not who knows) and off the rack doesn't fit him well and can't keep his pants up so he decided to not give a **** at all and wear what's comfortable. Also said he's hates the feeling of a tie being tight around his neck (I hate this too).

What I don't agree with is going from suit to total trash (and he says he dresses like garbage). There a middle ground but like most of the interview it was different than I thought.
Would I vote for him? Nope but it humanized him and probably helped him.

Said this before. I honestly don't think Fetterman is a bad dude. Misguided? Yes. Wrong on policy? Yes. Kind of a weirdo? Well compared to other dems, meh.

I could hang out with Fetterman.

One more example in a growing list of why having politicians give long form interviews is profoundly more helpful to the electorate than stump speeches and network moderated debates.

I wanted to actually like him and buy his man of the people persona. Like that he puts forth an ethos by which he operates, and that the election took its toll on him as a person. He was severely handicapped during the senate election, and we all knew it.

However, he crawfishes and tows the part line when it comes to the discussion about voter ID and demographic shifts by way of illegal immigration. Claims to to be against $200mm being spent to win a job that pays $174k/year, but some how thinks his party is clean and not up to any shenanigans when it comes to illegals voting. Kept harping on the 6 incidents of voter fraud (all R's!!!). Complete and utter bull**** that undermines any emotional pull he had with me. He's clearly just another politician, except he likes to wear sweatpants and kid himself.
