Kamala and the left want to and do let out violent felons on bond (more than 200 Houstonians killed by felons out on bond so far) but they use resources to kill a dude's squirrel?

When the most important things for a party are killing babies and excusing crime because of the perp's skin color.... that party is morally bankrupt and full of dog**** people.

His name was Trigger, we were still learning that you cannot touch a squirrel while he is trying to eat, unlike raccoons, which are most calm when being fed.

Funny enough, my wife was so fearful of him, she would lock him out of the room to clean out his hooch. I walked by the closed door once while she was doing this and raked my finger nails down the door causing her to jump and scream, thinking he was coming through the door.

RIP Trigger and Peanut.

Longo needs to file a lawsuit against the city of NY for unlawful taking, and name the mayor of NYC as a defendant.

It would probably get thrown out, but it would force the mayor to address the issue.

You could probably arrange for protests outside the Mayors house and get plenty of volunteers to come on down.

While Longo probably has no case legally, he will absolutely crush in the court of opinion, and making the mayor defend the killing of this squirrel would be the end of his political career.

Longo would get paid.

When I was about 7 years old, my pregnant mother told me that I was going to have a new baby sister.

I told her that I would rather have a pet squirrel, since some good friends had one in their house.

My sister still reminds me about that comment……..


Wild animals that I have raised as pets……ground squirrels, rabbits, snakes, lizards, deer, raccoons, roadrunner, wild turkey, bobcat, and a pig. No permits, but nobody in a small town ever thought that any permission was needed from the government.

I cannot understand why the government felt it was their responsibility to plan and execute a raid on the Longo's house, which carries an inherent risk of injury to both parties. Reminds me of the ATF raid on Waco; both involved the government killing something that they shouldn't have.

Squirrels do not carry rabies and rabies generally kills raccoons in less than 48 hours and they can be vaxed against just like cats & dogs.

Just an absolute gross misuse of power. Really what it comes down to. Man hours were charged against NY tax base to build a case, present it to a judge, convince them to sign off on a warrant, execute the warrant, raid, confiscate two animals, kill them, call it a good case and go home happy with themselves. It's disgusting.

Longo lives out in the boonies. No one is in danger out there. And however weird some of yall may find it, Peanut was the main revenue generator with his social following that funded the entire rescue shelter that houses mainly large animals such as horses and cows. Which are not cheap to maintain. So not only did they just kill this man's pets, they killed his very livelihood with zero chance of recourse and now MORE animals are at risk as well.

Gross. Just flat out gross. The NY DEC deserves every bit of hate and attention it is getting and then some.

Can't they just send a patrol car, knock, say "Hello, we're here to investigate reports of animals at this residence. Do you have any animals here? Can you let us take a look around?"

"Okay, well we have a warrant so are going to take a look."

"Well, looks like you have these animals without proper licensing. You have 30 days to get the proper license or to rehome the animals. See you later."

If the guy and his squirrel were not social media stars, that is probably how it would have played out. But the authorities decided because of the squirrel's fame they had to make a point to set an example.
