Sounds exactly like you with the dems. If this were Biden, Kamala, or anyone else saying this (and yes, they've all said FAR WORSE), you'd be the first defending them and explaining what they meant, or providing the full quote.BigFred said:

I don't think you would find many people on this site that would say, in retrospect, Iraq war was a huge F'ing mistake.
That would be a legitimate case of learning a hard lesson at a giant, unimaginable, heart-breaking cost. Not a flip-flop, as you are insinuating.
Nobody wants war with N Korea. Let Fat Boy do his thing and keep his country in their dictatorial Communist paradise, just don't threaten the region and the USA with his rhetoric and weapons.1939 said:

Of course Iraq was a mistake. One we all paid a price for, some more deeply than others.
Just curious what constitutes a "war hawk" and why Liz Cheney is being accused of being one. The connection seems to be her father.

Correct. Typo. I think most people on this site, even the ones that originally supported the IRAQ war, would say, in retrospect, the Iraq war was a huge F'ing mistake.

Nine guns? What does that mean? That is reasonably interpreted as a firing squad. Guns pointed at her face? That does not sound like a battle scenario but more like a firing squad.

Great, four more years of, "here's what he really meant to say....." Trump needs a translator to interpret "the weave" a/k/a dementia.
Trump is one or more of these:
1) dumb
2) crazy
3) has dementia
4) a closet (not so closeted, he said it directly) wanna be dictator who will seek retribution against his perceived enemies.
Coulda had DeSantis. I voted Libertarian. Can't vote for either bozo on the ticket. I don't want to hear cackles or "the weave."

Fwiw - I've done a 170 on W, and a full 180 on Cheney - that guy is dark, very dark.

Agree Cheney was a snake. But I'll take W over Trump any day of the week and Reagan over both. The only thing that's going to move this country forward is the R's gaining majority in Congress. If the House is lost to the Dems and the Senate doesn't change, Trump will have a very hard time moving the needle with out compromise.Ag In Ok said:

Cheney voted with Trump's position with about 93% of the time, which was more than many other colleagues. She voted against the first impeachment. Why didn't she "jump ship" then?Silent For Too Long said:
I really don't know how you can't see this my man. The entire reason all the neocons have switched parties is because they are the stooges of the military industrial complex and Trump made it perfectly clear he wasn't going to play their evil little games anymore.
Why else did the Cheney's and Bolton and the rest jump ship? Because of principles?
