This has a little additional explanation. Seems like a legit concern voiced by military members. States send ballots, and if those ballots aren't there, then military can ask for federal absentee, which is where the issue seems to be.

It's almost like the feds know a lot of service members don't vote for communism. Election interference to "protect democracy" again?

Okay there is a lot happening with electronic voting machines across many states. It is complicated as it inbolves root passwords, BIOS passwords, EAC certification and validation requirements.

In short Secs of State in Colorado and Michigan have tampered with the servers to "fix" issues and placed those servers immediately back into service without a new required EAC certification on that patch prior to installation. The machines are not legal to use under state law.

Why is that important? Ask Tina Peters who is in prison for 9 years. She provided passwords to one person. At her trial, the stae had experts say that such an intrusion rendered the machines useless and that Mesa County had to buy all new machines. But when Jena Griswold did it online for months and then writes a rule allowing her to tamper with the root passwords, without observers present, nothing to see there.

Yes it is long but worthwhile if you have the time.

What's irritating more than anything is these weak as GOP leaders knew this is the crap they would pull. Always reactionary instead of being more proactive and being on top of it. This is not anything new it's the same crap by the same perpetrators and yet they still are a step behind them

One saving grace is that Georgia's state open records request have a quick turnaround. So the state legislator will know exactly who made this decision and do it secretly pretty quick. As in next week.

Raffensperger cannot stop that because the request is directed to Fulton County, not his office.

What was I saying about using the fractal system to clean up voter rolls? When I first heard about this system and how and why it was developed, confess it was kind of hard to understand at first. But I'm sold on it now.
