An 18-year-old was arrested outside a Florida polling location Tuesday after police said he wielded a machete in order to intimidate voters.

Caleb James Williams faces charges of aggravated assaulted on a person 65 years of age or older and improper exhibition of a firearm or dangerous weapon.
In a press conference after the arrest, Neptune Beach Police Chief Michael J. Key said Williams "brandished a machete in an aggressive, threatening posture over his head" at two women, ages 71 and 54.

Williams was accompanied by seven other male teens, ages 16 and 17, who police said went to the Beaches Branch Library "to protest and antagonize the opposing political side."

"The group was there for no other reason but for ill intentions to cause a disturbance," Key said. "This is not an incident of solely a First Amendment protected right, but rather one where they were simply there to cause a ruckus."

I know it's fun to troll & be obtuse, but your schtick is tiresome. Do you believe a Democrat victory is somehow YOUR victory that you personally attained; is that why you're so vested in defending the Left, like it's a personal battle? Is that what your Liberal brethren have convinced you to believe? Many of us voting for Trump damn sure don't worship an orange, narcissistic Yankee; instead, we see the crap he's been through, support policies he's espoused, & we've noticed the intelligence of those around him offering support (Tulsi, Musk, Bobby Kennedy, Vivek); looking at that tiny makeup, I thought diversity was a strength- No? Instead, today's Dems are largely obese, nonbinary, Christian-hating tools that were/are freaks that were bullied in school; others are pseudo intellectuals who believe membership in the Democrat party somehow masks their intellectual shortcomings. Consequently, it seems many have found a refuge behind keyboard anonymity with inflammatory language, while simultaneously finding support alongside the other rejects who use technology to "connect socially' (because in real life, rejects are pushed to the periphery & isolated). If Democrat support was so widespread, why does your party bend over backwards to create unfair elections; why must y'all cheat to win? Is it because a Dem victory is so very personal that it gives your life meaning? Just to recap as to how and why we got here.

Started in 2000 and the infamous butterfly ballot in Florida. Hanging chads. 2002, Bush administration passes the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) providing financial assistance to states to modernize their voting systems.

Enter from stage left, Diebold DREs direct recording with the votes being paperless and digitally recorded. One cycle, four years later in 2004, Bush v. Kerry. Exit polling shows Kerry up big and the pundits all election believe Kerry has the election in the bag.

Only it didn't happen that way on election day. Kerry doesn't concede that night as his team is trying to figure out a way to challenge the results. But with no paper ballots in so many states and votes only being digitally recorded, quickly discover they can't. Not without access to the machines on a mass scale.

Diebold, as a brand goes into the toilet as do DREs in general. Diebold is so badly injured, they even change the name to Premier Voting Systems. Didn't work and Diebold sold that voting unit to rival ES&S (taking over all of their existing contracts, hardware and software.) They were put out of business because their system was nontransparent and unauditable. Pffft! Like a fart in a dust wind, they are gone.

Obama wins in 2008. Enter stage left, the Holder Justice Department. They decide that ES&S now has too big of a share of the American electronic voting machine market and sue to get them to divest one third of their business...to the newly created American company (from Canada) Dominion.

Within a few years through further acquisitions, Dominion quickly grows their market share to around 40%. Despite all of the myriad and pernicious issues with Dominion ever since, why haven't they been put out of business? They are not transparent, not really auditable even. The guy who invented the Risk Limiting Assessment, Porf. Stark, has repeatedly testified his RLA doesn't work on Dominion's machines.

Are we finally at the point where Dominion comes under fire if and when Kamala loses?

Only speaking from my own voting experience.
  • I arrived and showed my drivers license, they matched that against the voter roll and verified I appeared to be who I said I am. (no problem).
  • I voted, and then printed my ballot showing my selections written out on the ballot (no problem).
  • I put my printed ballot into the electronic counting machine. (let's hope counts it correctly!)
  • I assume my printed ballot is being held, securely, so a hand recount can be made, if needed.

All that is fine with me. There is still opportunity for fraud by manipulating votes in the electronic vote counting machine. Or, if a hand recount is made, I see fraud opportunities in the custody of the ballots.

The machines should be randomly audited throughout the voting process.
Ballot custody should be on display throughout the process.

Unfortunately, I am at the whim of those administering the voting system to maintain the integrity of the election, and I don't trust those people.

As a Colorado voter, no DL required. The key is securing a ballot by mail upfront. Then you drop it off with just a signature to "secure" its authenticity.

I was actually surprised there was language that it had to be a legal registered citizen and dropped off on time; or rejection. But that is still not secure. Everyone knows it.

IMO, this is where the ballot harvesting techniques came into existence. The left has been experimenting with it for over a decade in CO and the state turned blue overnight. It's also why I no longer donate to certain "charities" that have a history of registering a bunch of homeless people and wind up with a bunch of ballots to fill out come election time. Those cities get extra blue with how easy it is to manipulate.

I think you either have to be a true America-hating communist or one of the useful idiots programmed by the marxist regime's pravda media arm to defend democrat positions on election integrity.

Mass-mailed in elections with no auditable chains of custody and no proof tying ballots to legitimate registered voters or any way to audit or challenge signature verification if it exists? No ID for in-person voting to prove the person voting is the person who is registered to vote? Non-citizens voting and fighting for them to count? Un-auditable elections where you can only recount - you can't vouch or trace in either direction between final tallied results and legitimate registered voters?

To have these positions and defend these positions and fight so hard to keep these positions says a lot about what you really think about "saving democracy" or "protecting our democracy". You hate democracy and clearly hate America.

So when they drive by this thread and think they're being funny with troll posts that aren't jokes - like nonsensical prison schemes - we know what you are. You just hate America and think this is just a big joke.
