Short answer to the OP is no. Lots of fake "Christians" out there these days, however. From Pope Marx to sellouts in every denomination, they're all around. Just look for the repurposed rainbow flags.
By definition a "Christian" is an individual who believes and follows the Nicene Creed (325). The Creed is the statement of faith for Christians

But you voted for Trump???
What does he push that is evil? Look at the list in my 1st paragraph at top of page...now tell me what Trump or republicans support that is evil or unChristian.

Yeah he's "kind of" pro choice to a further extent than I would like...but it pales in comparison to the left and he is certainly without a doubt the lesser of two evils.
And there it is....the lesser of two evils. And in some peoples opinion, they are both evil and may see some R policies as evil and/or un Christ like. I think R policies are the lesser, but I'm just saying that all of theses discussions that are basically saying "if you vote democrat, you cannot be Christian", is dangerous. By that logic, anyone who sins periodically or makes a wrong choice isn't a Christian.
Sinning periodically is something even the apostles did. We all do.

Actively supporting books like "Gender Queer" in grade schools (I don't know of a single lib who is against this...they wept and gnashed teeth when Desantis had it removed and compared him to Hitler) which shows graphic images of boys going down on each other and sodomizing each other (can't post the images here) is a whole new level of sin/evil thoughg.

It's like saying, "hey that guy who exposes himself to children ain't that bad...we all sin!". It's nonsensical.

I gave you a list of evil things the average everyday democrats support and encourage. Show me some comparable stuff the average republican supports. Good luck.
My point was that its possible for people to view those things republicans advocate for as going against Christian teachings. I'm not saying its accurate in my mind, but for instance, the treatment of immigrants, the poor in our country or even the taxation of the middle and lower class compared to the wealthy... they may view that as going against Christ's teachings. And if abortion is now illegal in their own state, then they may perceive more of a balance between the evils of both sides.
I'm just saying it is not as simple as saying that if you vote democrat you can't be a Christian. Jesus saves, not political parties. When we start equating being a Christian with being a Republican, that is dangerous. Politics for some begins to become an idol for some if they think that merely being repubican makes them a faithful Christian

...knowing that they actively support abortion (to an alarming degree), gay cartoon p0rn books in grade schools, hedonism and debauchery, sex changes and irreversible hormone therapy for minors, assault on the nuclear family, men crushing women in sports, men changing and showering with women in the locker room, and violence and destruction in the streets when it serves a political purpose.

I have been alarmed by the number of people in my IG feed, who were always strong Christians that I looked up to...and went to Christian colleges...basically be so brainwashed as to argue that one cannot possibly be Christian and support Donald Trump. I just think it is flat out INSANE to make that argument, especially considering the vile and evil filth the democrat party actively endorses and advocates for.

But serious question, unless you are just completely naive and have been living under a rock for half a century, how can anyone call themselves a Christian and actively support and encourage the filth I laid out in paragraph 1?

I will leave you with this...

To oversimplify this question is dangerous. Politics absolutely do not dictate a persons faith or 'Christianity'. A Christian's faith should dictate how they vote....when they vote. So while I agree that abortion is against our faith....Republican representatives have already walked back from a national ban and don't seem interested in . using it as part of their platform.

Christians are also supposed to support policies that represent the teachings of Christ (including love/charity) To say one party absolutely does and the other absolutely doesn't is absurd. So it boils down to the lesser of two evils, good and evil or the better of two goods.

Anyone using politics as a benchmark for their faith needs to reassess some things. The other thing to consider is that nowhere in scripture are we required to vote for who we deem to be harmful nominees if we, in good conscience, believe that is the best action.

Me voting for the government to take your money and give it to someone else - or vice versa - is not me being loving or charitable. I always laugh when I read that kind of pap.

Jesus: "how much money did you personally give to the poor"

Democrat: "none, but I voted to take money from some rich guy and give it to them"

LOLOLOLOL
You obviously don't understand the broad meaning of charity. But that's okay. Everyone rationalizes things so feel better about their actions. Interesting that you are speaking for Jesus though.

Everyone is a sinner. He has repented for all those sins.

GO TRUMP!!!
When did he repent? Tell us please. Did he apologize to his prior wives? Did he apologize to Melania? If so, I never saw it.
Actually, he said on camera that he doesn't need to be forgiven....and then couldn't come up with a single bible verse that he liked.

Voting for what we hope are the policies Trump will enact are one thing....feeling compelled to make him into some sort of prophet or even being able to demonstrate every once in a while his Christian faith is a bit much. Idolatry is reaching a new level

2 Timothy 3:1-7 NIV:

Quote:
3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

That describes one of our political parties perfectly. Like as if Paul was reporting directly from their convention floor.

And for those of you whose only rebuttal is character assassinations of Trump, King David impregnated a married woman and then murdered her husband to cover his crimes.

For most people, the abortion issue is defining for Christians...except that before the overturn of R v W, the R party never moved the needle on getting rid of it. And now that its back in the states hands, some people may think that because its illegal in their state and others that its not as much of a concern like it once was.
Historically black Christians had voted predominately for Dems. I don't believe they're not Christians because of their votes though because their perception was that the Dem policies were for the greater good.

My Jesus preached love and forgiveness, but also (a) told his men to arm themselves, (b) warned that a punishment worse than being dragged to the bottom of the sea awaited those who simply caused little ones to sin, and (c) flipped tables and violently drove out money changers with whips after they perverted the temple.

Well, people who feel compelled to pretend to be liberal because it behooves them in their careers or some standing in social status, yet also feel somehow compelled to pretend to be Christian at times because it makes them feel better about themselves or behooves them in front of family or in-laws would certainly try to equate baby murdering to just some trivial political ideology difference that intellectual minds should be bigger than.

Sure, you're just being extra compassionate for women's health and their God-given rights to kill the life they created with another person. Just like Jesus!!! He was compassionate!

Sure. It helps you to convince yourself of this, but go ahead and feel free to do some image searches for aborted fetuses. Maybe you can even ask some AI bots to create some aborted fetus images for you... even the ones at only 10-12 weeks that are still so tiny, yet still have had arms, legs, heads, brainwaves, and heartbeats. It's okay. it was your healthcare choice and a right of yours. Go ahead and call it a lump of cells and pretend it's "healthcare" "rights" and continue pretending to be "Christian".

I don't understand how people convince themselves of this, but even some of your overlords like the Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, alleged devout (or demonic) "Catholics" still pretend to be Christian, so why not you, too? I'm sure you'll be let into heaven with company like that, no matter how many fetuses you murder.
