Can you align with post-modernism or humanism and be a Christian?

Along those lines, is it problematic for a Christian to hold social views that align with the worldview of the Cult of Reason, Spanish Rojos, and the Great Leap Forward? Can a Christian align with the League of Militant Godless on everything except religion?

You can argue the undercurrents that run through a party's politics are not representative of any individual voter's beliefs, but that's difficult to reconcile when a party's position on many social issues can be traced to a philosophy with the main purpose of deconstructing Christianity and the nuclear family.

It's hard to separate the politics from the critical theories when the critical theories are driving the politics, which are driving the social views, which have historically had incongruent interactions with Christianity.

No one here knows the status of Trump's personal faith. We just know for a fact that he isn't the evil monster the entire left claims he is.

That being said, I don't think you would find many conservatives or Christians who would argue that you can only vote for a devout Christian and that it is completely immoral not to do so.

For example, i believe Vivek is a Hindu...but he is against all of the degenerate filth mentioned in this thread. If he ran against a dem who supported the evil filth in the OP but called themselves "Christian", i think, by leaps and bounds, the more moral choice would be to support Vivek, the non-Christian.

So you can be a Christian and support men showering in the same locker room as my daughter, abortion well past 3 months, breast removal of 13 year old girls, irreversible puberty blockers for children, raunchy gay p0rn in childrens' school libraries, thinking black people are too stupid/lazy to get ID's like everyone else, proselytizing to youth about LGBTQ/trans/gender confusion, pro-criminal judges resulting in increased bloodshed of innocent people???

I've already started seeing facebook posts all from white suburban women about how they are a Christian but cannot vote Republican due to (insert a non-logical reason here). Therefore they must vote Democrat and that democrats are not anti-Christian so everyone should do their research like they did and become enlightened.

They had these same posts in 2016 and 2020 but I guarantee they've always voted democrat. They just need some e-cred with their other liberal white women connections from facebook.

What evil wretched filth does Trump actively advocate for or endorse? Aside from being kind of moderate on abortion...or more moderate than most Christians would like? It's a long list for Kamala, and virtually everyone on the left.

Supporting evil that has been outlined on here, particularly indocrinating kids into it, is about as bad as it gets imo. And virtually all modern dems support this. Lifelong dems/progressives like Rogan, Elon, Tulsi, Bret Weinstein, RFK JR etc etc have hit eject because it is so over the top bad. It's like a warped evil religion aljmost entirely fueled by irrational hatred towards Trump. So much so that many lifelong Christians have been enticed into actively supporting and encouraging a level of depravity and wickedness that is jaw-dropping.

Trump definitely has a checkered past...but not as bad as Kind David's, King Solomon's, or Apostle Paul's. Kamala's is pretty checkered too...she constantly lies and embraces evil policies and ideologies and slept her way up the latter...basically making her a prostitute (sleeping with a married man in exchange for personal enrichment). Only one of these people pushes evil and moral decay on a level that would be astounding and unthinkable to any time traveler from 15 yrs ago.

Very dangerous game to play, as I truly believe the bible when it says that it holds such preachers and teachers to harsher standards....particularly when it involves leading young followers/potential followers astray

No, there are a number of verses about this. But most revolve around believing that Jesus is Lord who died for our sins, and confessing your own sins to God. Here are a couple but there are plenty:

Quote:

John 3:16-17 ESV
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Quote:

Romans 10:9 ESV
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Quote:

Acts 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

So being a Christian has NOTHING to do with what you advocate for morally? A good Christian can actively support lewd drag queen performances targeted at the youth? Convincing children they were born in the wrong body and need genital mutiliation or hormone therapy? Chopping up and sucking out the most beautiful and majestic of God's creation? Vile, lewd, sexually provocative "parades"???

What about this one? Just BS???

To take it one step further, I could support a man who wants to annihilate all Jews, latinos and blacks and still be a good Christian because "Jesus doesn't care about politics or who we vote for"?

The evil degenerate stuff discussed on this thread isn't even "POLITICS". It just so happens that one political party has adopted it, openly embraces it, and attempts to spread it.

What is "political" about half naked drag queens twerking for 5 and 6 yr olds? Or gay p0rn books in kids schools? It's a moral issue, not political.

This is another good "moral" point. A C.S. Lewis quote comes to mind...

The left has framed it as "you don't want 20 million unvetted immigrants flooding into this country in 3-4 years so you must hate brown people and cannot be a Christian" When we all know that in doing so, it (a) results in a tremendous uptick in crime as many violent deranged people will inevitably come through, killing and raping countless incocents, and (b) it unfairly increases the financial burden on millions of people, many of whom are already struggling.

It's actually diabolical when you consider the reasons they are INTENTIONALLY doing it. Their intentions are neither pure or noble in doing so, even if they claim them to be.

I think the most wild stuff came after Jesus, but you are not wrong. I don't think Jesus would look fondly on those actively advocating for massive orgies, killing innocent prisoners for sport, and debauchery...which aren't even "political" issues. Or shouldn't be.

"People" that fight so hard to have the ability to destroy their own offspring aren't worthy of life. That's not human behavior, thats pure evil and undeserving of life.

Hope that helps.
Can't tell you how many upper and middle-upper class white moms i am "friends" with on social media who are obsessed with their daughter's future ability to kill off their grandchildren. Beyond rape and life-of-the-mother. Just their daughter's unfettered access to abortion. Them not having such open access is expressed as their biggest "fear". Everything else be damned.

Women I never would have expected to hear this from...at least not so proudly and openly. It has been revealing.

It's amazing, isn't it? Pure scum of the earth. They'd rather kill their own child than afford groceries or a roof over their heads.

Absolute psychopaths.

Lack of strong male leadership largely to blame too imo.
