Anybody who supports Trump and his lifestyle cannot be a christian. You dont cheat on every wife you have ever had, Pay off pron stars, assault women, fail to pay legal debts through bankruptcy(even though you are supposedly a billionaire) and then go on a cursing rant at a meeting with Catholics.

Anybody who falls for this can no longer consider themselves a christian
Everyone is a sinner. He has repented for all those sins.

Heels up kicks out folks that think "Jesus is Lord".

GO TRUMP!!!
When did he repent? Tell us please. Did he apologize to his prior wives? Did he apologize to Melania? If so, I never saw it.

Are you his pastor?

I have been alarmed by the number of people in my IG feed, who were always strong Christians that I looked up to...and went to Christian colleges...basically be so brainwashed as to argue that one cannot possibly be Christian and support Donald Trump. I just think it is flat out INSANE to make that argument, especially considering the vile and evil filth the democrat party actively endorses and advocates for.

But serious question, unless you are just completely naive and have been living under a rock for half a century, how can anyone call themselves a Christian and actively support and encourage the filth I laid out in paragraph 1?

I will leave you with this...

To oversimplify this question is dangerous. Politics absolutely do not dictate a persons faith or 'Christianity'. A Christian's faith should dictate how they vote....when they vote. So while I agree that abortion is against our faith....Republican representatives have already walked back from a national ban and don't seem interested in . using it as part of their platform.
Christians are also supposed to support policies that represent the teachings of Christ (including love/charity) To say one party absolutely does and the other absolutely doesn't is absurd. So it boils down to the lesser of two evils, good and evil or the better of two goods.

Anyone using politics as a benchmark for their faith needs to reassess some things. The other thing to consider is that nowhere in scripture are we required to vote for who we deem to be harmful nominees if we, in good conscience, believe that is the best action.

Thank you for your sanity and understanding the basic principles of Christianity. There's some hope.

Lying also matters. Why are you lying?
Is it more me lying...or you denying?? Thats a court settlement issue to reduce the incarceration time for the settlement of the 5 million.
It wasn't a criminal trial, you dolt. There could be no incarceration.
After the 5 million was agreed upon. Did I stutter???

LOL, you don't understand the difference between civil and criminal and punishment.

Neither does Kamala, who never argued a single case while AG.

Jesus doesn't care who you vote for. The new testament makes no statement on how a government should be run. A big theme Gospels is the rejection of politics.

Quote:

John 18:36

36 Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place."

The jews expected Jesus to come as a King and overthrow the sinful and oppressive Roman Empire. He did not do this, and Christians should not claim that it is God's will to control the government. Your vote will not bring people to Christ and the government wont either.

But he VERY clearly cares about whether you promote sin and debauchery, especially to the youth. See Bible verse in OP.

Does the Bible tell Christians to force other people not to sin?

Me voting for the government to take your money and give it to someone else - or vice versa - is not me being loving or charitable. I always laugh when I read that kind of pap.

Jesus: "how much money did you personally give to the poor"

Democrat: "none, but I voted to take money from some rich guy and give it to them"

I'm not arguing with you by the way. I'm just saying at least this particular UCC church I attended did in fact give sermons from the Bible. I just figured out after I grew older and attended other churches that it was quite a bit different.

It's wild. It's nothing remotely close to something like a Baptist church. Basically they believe Jesus was the OG free spirited hippy.
In my experience, Church of Christ people make Baptists look like raging liberals. That's why I'm shocked.
the United Church of Christ is NOT the same as your garden variety southern Church of Christ. They are not related.

Perhaps we should be less obsessed with corralling our neighbors into the "other" category? Once folks appoint themselves arbiters of who is Christian, it's tempting for them to also arbitrate who the humans are. Reductionism can be dangerous.

The answer is NO!

Democrats = Devil

Any group that promotes/supports/idolizes murdering babies is not allowed to consider themselves believers of God. The democrat pushes Faith in God out of society. Lifting up Jesus' name is the sin for democrats.

Yes God will forgive their sins if they repent, but ..................

Users with moderation rights on this forum hand out bans if you post a picture of "women's healthcare" (aka dead fetus). It is most certainly not Christian to crush fetus skulls and dismember them, whether you do it via vacuum or forceps. It's disgusting, horrifying, and evil.

But how this thread ended up being about nut bar Jean Carroll's sudden recollection of something that allegedly happened over 30 years ago seems like a twisted trolling derailment. Changing laws and using a corrupt system to lawfare political opposition in an attempt to bankrupt them and interfere with an election is for a whole different thread.

Can you be Christian and vote democrat...

"A loaded question is a complex question that contains a controversial assumption or falsehood, and is intended to limit the respondent's answers to those that serve the questioner's agenda. "

OP could have improved it by adding "good Christian"

This thread made me laugh. Bible thumpers and the holy rollers are always the first to throw stones.

Name one politician, that wouldn't sell their soul for votes and money. Evil has been in politics since the days of ancient Egypt and further back than those days.

Voting for "someone" or for a "party" doesn't make you less Christian and anyone who says, better look at the mirror more closely before judging.

This is why I say one thing among coworkers and vote a different way come election day. No one's business who I vote for or why. God knows my heart and I know where I am going, the day He calls me home. Everything else in life is bulls***.

I am grateful for this thread. It gave me a good laugh that I needed.

I know plenty of people who are Christian and who vote Democrat.

As far as I'm concerned, if a Christian can't vote for Harris, he can't vote for Trump, either. Neither appears to be at all pro-Christian.
Look at the policy and ideologies pushed by each. Look at the desires for our culture and country. One side is pushinig such radical, extreme, deviancy, that it is turning off many high profile lifelong democrats. We will never have a perfect, righteous candidate. Ron Paul was probably the last solid candidate in that area.

George Bush's policy resulted in far more deaths of innocent people than Trump's. Yet you probably consider GWB to be a righteous man.

I never said "can you be a Christian and vote Harris"...it was "Can a christian vote for and directly support xxx wicked and evil things (outlined in first paragraph of first post)".

So you can be a Christian and support men showering in the same locker room as my daughter, abortion well past 3 months, breast removal of 13 year old girls, irreversible puberty blockers for children, raunchy gay p0rn in childrens' school libraries, thinking black people are too stupid/lazy to get ID's like everyone else, proselytizing to youth about LGBTQ/trans/gender confusion, pro-criminal judges resulting in increased bloodshed of innocent people???

Anyone who calls that out is "throwing stones" aka being a hypocrite? How is my devoutly Christian mother a hypocrite for thinking those are very very bad things to support?

They all seem like VERY un-Christian positions, but that's just me.

True, but the least we can do is not try to push evil lunacy on children, right? Everyone sins and falls short...but it's going many steps further to actively encourage and support the evil that has been spelled out on thie thread.

A lot of the stuff modern democrats support would make ancient citizens of Rome and Sodom and Gomorrah blush.
