You sound desperate or naive. Not really sure which. Rogan is the biggest podcast in the world. If people listen to both of them it will matter. If he goes on and she declines it will be received similarly to how she come off when she avoided the Al Smith dinner.

If Trump goes on he will do well, he's done well in that setting several times already and people that listen will come away with a more favorable opinion of him whether they vote for him or not. Kamala isn't relatable, she's poor at discussing policy, and she's desperately trying to convince us she was important to the decision making process the past four years while simultaneously convincing us she's not responsible for the results of those decisions. Rogan will give both of them enough rope to hang themselves, that's just his style. The difference is we already know Trump will be comfortable in a long form conversation and she won't. If she does Rogan it will fail worse than the Fox interview. Thats just the truth.

The Kamala Harris campaign is panicking and telling all of her supporters that she is going to lose unless you let go of $5 and promise to vote.

She is using this as scare tactic to try and get people that would normally vote for Democrats to the polls.
The Kamala team is very scared that inner city voters will stay at home this election like they did in 2016.

Down to the wire with Donald Trump with 14-days to go ... again.

As if stealing policy proposals wasn't desperation, the interviews and townhalls were scheduled in the last 2 weeks because the internals were showing that 1) voters didn't know her, 2) there was no platform for voters to vote FOR.

Thus the answer is she needs to sell herself to the American public, which shouldn't be new territory for a prost...politican. it's literally what they do.

So her appearances have still been light on the policy, but has her repeating "go to my website and I have 85 internet pages of proposals"

The bottom line is she has been hemorrhaging support since at least the Vance/Walz debate.

• She had a bad interview on 60 Minutes where CBS was caught altering video to protect her,
• went on the View and told them she'd do nothing different from Biden the last 4 years,
• had all kinds of cackling fun on Colbert and Stern while eastern TN and Western NC were underwater,
• tried to play politics with Desantis leading up to Milton and got her ass handed to her,
• had the disastrous Fox News interview where she appeared angry and unhinged and didn't answer any of Bret Baier's questions but instead blamed Trump
• Skipped the Al Smith traditional dinner/roast and sent in a cringe worthy video
• Had no plan for black men and then produced a 5 point plan based on free money and weed
• Has completely pivoted her campaign from "Hope and Joy" and "Opportunity Economy" to a lot of fear mongering about Trump being Hitler, hiding, and other nonsense with tag-along loser Liz Cheney in tow.
• She is having to spend time courting and wooing black voters which she should have in the bag

Many of the respected polls are showing Trump up nationally and in most of the battleground states now. Early voting is showing R's are going to eat into any "firewall" the Dems enjoyed going into election day. Republicans are more enthused and Dems are simply not.

Kamala losing this would be one of the biggest failure of all time.

How bad would they have screwed this up.

You are conflating professional pollsters with public polls done by media/universities. Those are less expensive than people hired to do internl polls.

You get what you pay for. Campaigns, PACs and even wealthy donors contract for those professional pollsters. If they are too far off, they are out of business.

Public polling will roll on to the next cycle.

Professional pollsters don't have a way to eliminate the "non-response bias". Whether because of apathy, frustration, or just plain distain for polling, pollsters don't get the positive responses they used to. They have to then mathematically try to adjust their results for who they think a "non-response" would have voted for. Layer on the impact of a false response (I know a lot of folks who post here that will simply say they're voting for Kamala because they hate the pollsters), and the results are simply unreliable.

All that being said, I have no idea how internal polls work more effectively, but they apparently do. Maybe getting more specific data, calling on known voters from prior elections to determine shifts, demographic specifics, etc....
