That was pretty funny, OP. But my favorite part of the speech was when he said words to the effect: "DeBlasio was a sh/t mayor. That's not comedy, that's fact!".

I've never heard of this dinner before. Are the speakers supposed to be lighthearted and fun? Is it supposed to be a chance to make fun of the world around us? If so he nailed it.
The federal government was never meant to be this powerful.

There is already a lengthy thread with a lot of details in this forum. https://texags.com/forums/16/topics/3498638

It's even funnier if it's not supposed to be that

Yes. It's very similar to a roast. After long hard weeks and months campaigning, a chance to come together and poke at one another. Ultimate sign of humility to make fun of each other and oneself.

He said a "terrible leader" or "the worst" and kind of stopped and mumbled something like he wasn't supposed to say that, then went "I don't give a ****, he was terrible"

Anyone see his bitter face and how was the only guy not to stand up when they introduced Trump to speak? Such a bitter, petty old man.
