I went there in the 2000s and 2010s.

Also their governor, Phil Scott, is to the Left of Bernie Sanders (VT Senator) on every policy position. He is officially classified as the most liberal Republican in United States history under every metric.

The Vermont Senate is supermajority Democrat.

I understand this fully but 25 percent of Chittenden County (where Burlington, VT is) votes Republican.

Also 31 percent of Vermont votes Republican.

They do not deserve this.

Law abiding citizens/taxpayers have to make sure that Democrats that control every metro area in the country from DA to judges to city leadership to county leadership fix these massive problems they have created through Democrat regressive policies at the local level.

If they don't then Idaho will be the last nice state to live in with a significant metro areas: Treasure Valley/Boise metro and Coeur d'Alene metro.

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho has about the same population as Burlington, Vermont.

CDA has Republican government. They don't have these problems.

The entire state is in ruins.

They already hide the sexual mutilation of children from parents in VT.

I brought up a topic a year or two ago wondering what it would take to get about 100,000 Republicans to migrate to Vermont and flip that state red. For such a small state, they can sure be an embarrassing pain in in the ass

Wow. Why does anyone give them any credit at all? Never have they ever been fit to rule since Kennedy. And maybe not even then.

Some of you know that I homeschool my son. We do a lot of road schooling. Camping our way around the country in a roof top tent, learning and exploring as we go.

We've camped coast to coast to coast.

Budgets are tight, so we seldom use a hotel. We've seen a LOT of campgrounds and the only one I have ever left without staying out of disgust and safety was Burlington, VT.

Open hard drug use, needles everywhere, bathrooms with feces smeared everywhere, trash all over the place, loud crappy music, zombie like people passed out, feral kids running around mostly unclothed and filthy. Junked out cars that looked like permanent fixtures. A staff that was clearly high and didn't care about anything else.

Just awful. And this is the assessment of someone who has camped just outside of Portland.
