It would be great if a family member or friend of the family sought to punish those in the justice system and/or the politicians who have allowed this sort of thing. In the most aggressive way possible.

EDIT- Apparently GoFundMe deleted the campaign since it was promoting money for a criminal defense. Pretty ricidulous. I guess they should have just reworded it that the money would go to the daughter for lifelong counseling from the sick POS.

I don't think that not proving it beyond a reasonable doubt would mean that the jury couldn't find the whole thing stupid and nullify it anyway.

If the sick sob was 60 years old, I wonder how many innocent girls were abused by him over the years? No way this was his first.

If even half of this story is true the dad should be given an award AND a reward. Sadly we're gonna need a lot more of this going forward.

My understanding as of this moment, no formal charging has yet occurred nor a grand jury convened nor assigned if recently convened for other matters.

That having been said, it is not unheard of for a DA to overcharge to get a no bill. DAs have unfettered control over grand jury proceedings. They can present what they want to present to shape the presentation to them. There is a supervising judge but they largely rubberstamp if a grand jury wants to issue subpoenas, etc.

I know it doesn't matter legally. I'm just curious. I mean, did the girl put herself in more danger? Sometimes these young girls get very confused on who to trust. I mean, he had a no contact order with this particular girl? What a nightmare not only for her, but for her parents.
