Haven't read all of the posts, but I did see what Obama said to men in his recent speech

Who advised trying to gain support from men via insults?

They may think they are trying to challenge men with these ads and messages, but they are badly missing the mark.

My comment wasn't talking about strictly politicians, we can mostly agree on their nature, but I'm talking about the entire spectrum of leftists.

In this particular case, everything about this ad is phony; all the way down to the originating concept which is essentially "We do not appeal to masculine men, how can we lie to them to make them vote for us.".

I don't care about them not being genuine. I expect anyone in an ad or commercial to be an actor. That's how ads work.

What's insulting is them truly believing that these are direct representations of masculine men and that the only reason we wouldn't vote for kamala is because we feel threatened somehow or hate women. They truly think that creating these caricatures and talking down to us as if we're incapable of higher level thought because of their imagined moral failings is "reaching out" and in no way insulting, and it's somehow our fault for not listening and seeing the light.

I can't get past carburetors. No new vehicle has had a carbureted engine in over 30 years. It's like someone looked up "man words" from decades ago.

I'd be more impressed with, "I can change a flat tire", or "I change my own oil cause the dipsticks at the lube center aren't to be trusted".
