At what point will the left pursue Elon if Kamala wins?

He's gotta leave the states to remain safe, right?

He living in Austin full time now? Feel like he will raise his security ten-fold.

If he goes to Mars, I hope he takes me with him

If he wants to stay and fight, there is no place like Texas.
Or Florida.

If Elon leaves, we are completely ****ed as a country (for real)
It would make some of the Premium board folks happy though.

He literally has endless resources and frankly I have come to believe he has few F's to give.

He will take them on behind an army of attorneys this country has never seen.

Elon's empire is absolutely at risk if Kamala wins. I think that is why he went to Trump rally and said this will be "last time anyone votes" if Trump doesn't win.

He has F u money, no doubt. But if the feds pass on an order to Blackrock, he can be taken down pretty quick.

There is a limit to throwing money at the problem. At some point you level out. More resources won't get you a better result in court.

We saw this with Trump. Part of the issue there is the attorneys most qualified to defend Trump are sitting on the sidelines because they don't want that kind of heat. They don't want to get blackballed. So you see a resistance to what money can do. We've seen 'em come after any body that dares to defend Trump and associated with Trump.

Weaponization of the legal system like this is what you see in places like Venezuela (and Brazil with Elon now) where the judiciary merges with the executive branch. We not only will have a uni-party like California, but we'll see two branches of the government unified under a common cause ... which is essentially what we have now. A judiciary subservient to the executive branch and at a minimum giving great deference to the executive branch.

Point is there might be no un-ringing that bell. Once that happens, history shows it's downhill pretty fast.

At that point we aren't really following the constitution anymore, so anything goes.

It's not sustainable though. We're counting on the country voting for Republicans from now on. That's not going to happen. It's just a matter of time before we're totally F'd.

There was a long thread on it, had to do with the Boring company potentially building a loop in CStat.
A number of folks think he's "an idiot", and "stupid" and has "failed upwards"

You don't have to like the dude, but all of those are demonstrably false. The number of folks who buy into the media characterization is depressing.

Sounds like jealous petes who wish they were 1% as successful as Elon is

Sadly , i think its worse.
Its not that they are jealous, it's that they actually believe it.
Folks have learnt to reject the evidence of their eyes, because that is the Party's most essential command.

It took Venezuela a decade to go from one of the richest countries in South America to worthless currency blowing down-streets and people eating zoo animals.

The people in Venezuela knew instinctively that the situation was getting *****ed but it happened incrementally over a decade. Things kept getting worse and worse. We may well be 4-years into a decade long collapse. We may well be past the post of no return.

What's wild is the kids that America was desperate to save from Covid will be in a world of hurt by 2030. The coming generation might be in for a huge shock. The rest of us fortunate to have lived through peak America.

Kind of my point sir.

We're headed in to uncharted territory.

Buckle up.

As my pastor tells me when we talk about general dilemmas in life, "ok, then what?"

We're getting in to "then what?" territory. I don't plan on bending the knee.

We a long way from 2019 though.

Wild to think that America's overreaction to Covid in March 2020 sealed its own fate.

A weaponized flu virus will have been all it took to collapse a nation.

That would be interesting. If he flees and if he leaves X, we're incredibly screwed. Would she have the nads to arrest him? And for what? Would they go after his money? Destroy X? All things would be on the table for them with nothing to stop them.

Heck no, he'd wind up making even more money, as the Democrats would supercharge the EV mandates quickly, and probably throw more money at everything government so nasa would pay him even more (plus starshield etc. for the DoD). Elon plays the government contractor/regulations game well.

Just like Trump didn't run away when 2020 was stolen, Elon would double down again for 2028.

A LOT of premies are radlibs that pay for safe space to whine iincessantly. In the Zoo and F16, they get "harassed". If you notice they usually hit and run post on F16.

From "lock her up" to "he has some old classified docs", the entire topic is a slippery slope and real third worldly. Does not end well.

The only thing fleeing does is possibly prevent you from being arrested. The US government can still freeze bank acccounts, etc.. which they will do. But I'm sure Elon has money parked overseas.

Kamala is going to shut down X, you can bet on that. She will do this via the DOJ, IRS and SEC working to harass Elon and his other businesses. She will go after any and all advertisers on X and all the money will dry up.

If Elon took his money and shut down his business interests…….500,000+ US Citizens would suddenly be jobless. He directly employs 150,000 and there are 2-5 more in support roles for each employee. Govt needs to tread carefully

Sad thing is if this happened, it would just prove his point about the destruction of free speech. But leftists would cheer it on like the dumb sheep they are and wouldn't realize the error of their ways until the door on the oven was being locked.

Elon hasn't done anything wrong. Why would he have to flee? Oh wait that's right the corrupt Democrats who have the DOJ in their back pocket.

Our country is ****ed up Right now because of democrats. They are the scum of the earth. Literally no better than Nazis.

Elon, like Rudy Guliani a few years ago, has lost all credibility at this point. His interest in Trump is manipulative as it relates to his space program.
