My question is : why is this coming out now? To damage Kamala and her team?

All the left ( and right if they were in this situation) would need to say is that the candidate's spouse is not running for office.

Is there an example where a Republican had a spouse be accused of something serious like that and the left tried to use that as ammo to discredit candidate (not rhetorical, I really don't know off the top of my head)? I know they got on to the bush kids and I think it was seen as a bad look in the public's eye to attack the kids of a president... However that was much less serious than a domestic violence accusation

It points to character, and if Kamala knew about it, it pointe to her character

Not Republican but they besmirched Andrew Jackson because they accused his wife of being a bigamist, pissed him off royally too, he was wanting to demand satisfaction. Helped literally kill her too.

Laura Bush killed a high school classmate in a car wreck. They tried to get some traction on that but I don't recall it going anywhere.

Thanks. I did not know that

It was not going to get any votes, and I think cooler heads at the DNC got the message out not to go there anyway. That was a different DNC, and the hate for Bush was not anything comparable to the hate for Trump.

So if the spouse of the other candidate is advocating for an an action that results in the killing of millions of babies do the flaws of each other's spouses offset this talking point ? (yes there are other things that either side can say to diminish their opponents character besides the actions of their spouses).

I guess it's time for Jenn psaki to assume the position and succumb to the new masculinity of the Democratic Party.

The need to get Paul Pelosi in town to knock some sense into these wifebeaters
