"President Trump said this", President Trump said that, do you agree with President Trump "? Not one time did they say, "Vice-President Harris said this or that, do you agree with her". No questions about energy, just the same skewed questions as the presidential debate. Just terrible.

Really suprised Vance didn't mention pelosi tape clearly stating SHE was the problem why the NG trump authorized were not deployed to prevent any issues on Jan 6.

The good news: VP debates dont matter. Vance was right on the issues.

The bad: the moderators bias was horrible from the very questions they chose to ask, to the fact checks. JD had to overcome walz, the moderators, and the media that will spin things.

I don't think you can overcome that by being calm. I think you have to be more passionate. You have to be punchy to break through. Otherwise your average voter will think it's boring, and think its equal. Even if Vance is right on the issues all they will hear is that the moderators fact checked Vance and that the media says he lost.

Vance did well if you are a Republican already. Didnt really change anything though.

Overall this changes nothing.

CBS was awful. Smug women who framed the questions to put Vance on the defensive about Trump and never did that to Walz about Harris. And Vance still masterfully handled himself.

Walz controlled this debate. That's tough for me to say but since I've already decided…like 2 years ago….it doesn't matter. Waltz knew his goal and his audience and he nailed it. Vance wasn't bad but his wasn't as effective. While it doesn't change my mind on anything, it does screw up my confidence of how easily Trump can win a little. 6 months ago, I'd be shocked if Trump lost, now, I don't think I'd be overly surprised either way. That's not good.

Nothing to do now but vote and hope for the best.
