It's early, but Vance is one of the most polished pols I have seen in a while. Quick on his feet and not easily rattled. Dems need to be worried.

Anecdotal story-

When my kid was young and we were looking at childcare options, we were blown away by the costs.

Now, I'm located smack dab between dell and apple. The registrar lady said- doesn't your company help pay for childcare?

I own the ****ing business. It's my money.

This little microcosm can be scaled. It's just like how expensive college has gotten- guaranteed govt money doesn't makee things less expensive or offset cost. It raises costs at very unsubstantial rates

Yes. Insurance shouldn't be so expensive that only your company can afford it for you.

Insurance should be allowed to compete across state and national lines.
