He was a great and responsible pick for VPOTUS by President Trump. A man who can effectively explain and advocate for his President and his policies. An individual firmly connected to the folks Trump is trying to attract to the polls in his favor.

Contrast that with Kamala, who chose a man who wasn't the best choice for her or her party's election prospects. She needed the ideological security blanket this dullard provided.

These debates usually do not matter. But as we have witnessed two assassination attempts on the life of a POTUS candidate, perhaps an assessment of competence in decision making and staff selection will take place with this debate.

Vance does this very effective thing where he says something extremely mainstream and adds "I'm sure the governor agrees," and then later Walz will acknowledge that with "I do actually agree with the Senator.." and it definitely boosts up Vance.
