You could confiscate all 5 trillion that American billionaires collectively own and it still wouldn't be enough to wipe out all the debt the middle class collectively owns. Hell just the credit card debt would take 1.5 trillion of it alone.

You think they mean High-Income Earners. You can tax people's income and it won't make a difference for IRS Revenue.

What they are talking about when they say "Tax the Rich" or "The Rich need to pay their fair share" is to Confiscate money from the Wealthy.

The ONLY way Buffett, Bezos, and Bill Gates will pay more into the Gov is to confiscate their wealth. They don't pay taxes. They will never pay taxes.

They can borrow against their wealth at a nominal fee and continue to keep their assets and watch them appreciate faster than the interest.

It's the default boogeyman argument for dems. They really don't have a cogent economic policy other than to take more of your money to get more government power. But they have to convince you all your problems are some how because of rich people.

So how do you do that? Are you giving it to the middle class while keeping the top 10% at 23% income tax rate? So take someone making $100,000 down to 12%? So the guy making $175,000 still pays 23% rate while you cut tax rate for those that already pay a lower rate and you just make it lower?

If Kamala gets elected and receives a blue congress to boot, we can put a fork in it.
