No one comes to power in New York or frankly any other huge city in the United States without committing some sort of violation or having skeletons in the closet. If the Feds went after all of it and actually cleaned it up I'd be all for it.

The problem is they only seem to go after people who don't tow a certain line. If he was outspoken as a Biden ally there never would have been an investigation in the first place. He criticized the administration and is going to pay the price.

Of course, the resident lib on this thread said that he would only get off the charges if he was a Republican.

Remind me again of the last Republican Administration that brought up trumped up charges against a sitting City mayor?

Once again, I hope these people live long enough to face the persecution that continue to vote for. My only happy thought is one day their children will likely pay for their dedication to liberalism, once they live with the tyranny their parent voted into power.

And as much as I don't like Adams or his policies, anyone with a slightly functioning brain knows he is being taken out because he spoke the truth about the mass illegal immigration hordes and what they are doing to his city. He was actually trying to protect his citizens.

Rapier managed to nail this one even.

Token gesture to take out a no longer useful pawn (who committed the cardinal sin of speaking out against the invasion), in the greater interest of defending other lawfare as 'not politically motivated.' It will be something related to corruption/financial fraud. The NYPD commissioner and then his deputy have also been taken out by the feds I think (and Adams was a former NYPD commissioner).

Comically, I had a New Yorker lecture me about how a lot of this stuff wouldn't have happened if the mafia hadn't been brought down this weekend (Italian guy of course.) Whatever, it's not like our big city governments in Texas aren't utterly corrupt too.
