In an effort to "sow discord and shape the outcome of U.S. elections", Iranian cyber actors sent messages during the summer to people involved in President Biden's then re-election campaign containing stolen material from former President Trump's campaign, U.S. agencies said.

"Iranian malicious cyber actors in late June and early July sent unsolicited emails to individuals then associated with President Biden's campaign that contained an excerpt taken from stolen, non-public material from former President Trump's campaign as text in the emails," the FBI, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and Office of the Director of National Intelligence said in a joint statement on Wednesday.

The agencies noted that there is currently no information indicating if recipients replied to the messages.

The U.S. intelligence agencies also alleged that Iran has continued their election interference since June and has sent stolen Trump campaign material to U.S. media organizations.

edit: Also too, most of the stuff he is accused of making up on the fly turns out to be true, see Kamala mock laughing at him for something that is 100% going on with Haitians. The story so far is that Iran sent unsolicited emails containing Trump campaign information to people associated with the Harris campaign and that there is no evidence anyone with the Harris campaign ever responded to those emails. It's not actually even clear if the people who received the emails realized the information was legitimate because they seemed to be a phishing attempts. Per NBC story

Unless something else comes out that shows otherwise, there's nothing in what has been currently released that shows any wrong doing on the part of the Harris campaign.

If Iran had hacked Biden and sent it to Trump, you and the rest of the left would be screaming "COLLUSION!!!!" all over again. Wouldn't matter if the Trump team had rejected it and immediately notified the feds. Every single Democrat would be making it into another scandal.

I'd completely agree with you if Harris had done something like stand up at rally and say:

"Russia Iran, if you're listening I hope you are able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing private Trump campaign data. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let's see if that happens."
