King David had a man killed so he could steal his wife. King Solomon was a hedonist who engaged in orgies and all types of deviant behavior. Peter denied Christ multiple times, even though he was in the man's inner circle. Apostle Paul hunted down and killed Christ followers.

The "all stars" of the Bible were tremendously flawed and sinful men, who eventually changed and came back to the lord.

By the way, I take issue with you calling him a SOB. By all accounts, he was a very good man who served his community. He probably saved lives. He will be remembered.
