1. I think she is a talented singer, songwriter, performer. The show I went to last year was probably one of the top 3 concerts I've ever attended just from a pure entertainment standpoint. I don't know that I would say I am obsessed with her than any other one of my favorite bands (I'm definitely a bigger Weezer and Vampire Weekend fan).

My wife wanted to go and it ended up being a great show. I was familiar with her music prior to that, but the concert definitely made me a fan.

I don't expect you to like the same music as me or anyone else, but I just think it's weird to hate on people's music tastes. Metallica (and most metal bands) are not my cup of tea. They have some songs I like but you won't ever find them in my regular rotation. I also recognize they are very talented artists and their music appeals to millions.
