This is probably the best conversation with a politician I've heard. Good questions and actual answers from JD Vance even on the harder questions. I was meh on JD Vance as a VP candidate but no more.

He has really grown on me as well…. I wasn't thrilled with him being the choice initially, but I am liking it more and more the more I hear things like this.

I still don't think there is anyway the deep state lets Trump become president, but if I'm wrong about that I hope that Vance is a very involved VP and Trump assigns him some serious policy roles.

Those guys have a pretty good podcast. You would be better off getting current events from that bunch vs CNN or FNC.

Gotten through most of it and am VERY impressed. By far the brightest person in the running and is so good at navigating his way through tough "gotcha" questions and then flipping the script on that person and dominating them, but somehow doing so respectfully, with a smile on his face.

He needs to stack Walz during their debate. You could give Walz the questions beforehand and Vance would still win the debate.

Thanks for posting that, OP. I agree with the others that it was a fantastic interview.

Vance gave thoughtful responses to tough questions. I especially liked how he broke down the way he'd address the illegal immigration problem with a focused, logical, and most importantly, seemingly do-able proposal.

I have sent the link to several friends. The general consensus is that they are impressed with his demeanor, sense of humor & his ability to break down complicated topics into small pieces. I hope more people see this.

Would love to see him debate either of the D candidates. Even the most lefty guy on the panel said he "checked all the boxes" and answered the tough questions. The fact that Harris/Walz have both declined their invite to sit for the hard questions is telling.

Ideally we would get a Trump win this year and Vance can run in 2028 if he keeps this up

From my observations of Walz, that should not be that hard. Walz is not very good at deflections, choosing poor grammar as the only reason for his misrepresenting his NG service since 2005 dozens and dozens of times?

Absolutely agree. I have been a fan of his since I first heard him speak. I might not agree with him on everything, but there is no doubt he knows the issues and he can use facts (not bluster, insults and hyperbole) to make his point. He answers directly when it is appropriate, or he rejects the premise of the question if it is inappropriate. I would hate to be a Leftist reporter interviewing him.
