Basically he is doing the same thing with AI's that he did with Twitter.

Twitter was supposed to be a beacon of free speech that could be used to disseminate knowledge and ideas quickly to help humans communicate and prevent extremism.

Instead it got co-opted and corrupted, used to spread lies and propaganda and further foment discord and accelerate extremism.

So he bought it and corrected it.

There is no buying these other AI's as they have already been too corrupted.

So now he building a good AI.

If AI is gonna take over anyway and at this point it's a foregone conclusion then we should make sure the most sophisticated and powerful one has the best chance of being as "good" a one as possible.

X doesn't own the most, not even close. Microsoft, OpenAI, and Alphabet are out front in sheer number of these processing units but unlike the others X put a ton into one cluster.

He has always been a classic liberal and still is.

I have zero problem with that. I can politely disagree with a classic liberal and we can come to a middle ground.
