Nope. Tucker is an entertainer. He has an audience and he plays to that audience only. I might agree with his politics, but having the same political beliefs does not remotely make a person qualified to serve in the highest office. That being said, he certainly isn't worse than our current nominee. We need to steer clear of these cults of personality.

We need a completely revamp of nominees for the 2028 GOP ticket, but I absolutely think Desantis is a far far superior option for 2028.

I will stand by this. If people actually hear Tucker speak, he could definitely win 300+ electoral votes and the whole Blue Wall of PA, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Just like Trump did in 2016. He actually speaks to the concerns of voters that decide the election in those states.

People called Ron Johnson a conspiracy theorist as well, and he actually won Wisconsin on the same day that Democrats won the governorship with Tony Evers.

You can check that I am biggest Desantis fan, but he might have the least amount of charisma I have ever seen from a politician ever and that matters when you are running for President as a Republican. Kamala being completely vapid does not matter because she has the Democrat media to cover for her and run her campaign. It is different for Republicans.

Sure we can run Sununu or Youngkin in 2028 and they will both lose just like Romney did. I suggested Sununu in the past, however I did not know that Romney dominated Obama in 2012 with independents. Romney did great with independents. The Republican base stayed at home and that caused Romney to lose in 2012. We cannot let that happen again with Sununu or Youngkin.

Trump is a LOT more reasonable than TC. Carlson is prone to take positions just for the sake of being contradictory to convention, when there is at least often one or more valid reasons the convention exists. I don't mind someone trying to take alternative perspectives, but they have to be supportable and not just for the sake of being contrarian. Imho Carson does that a little too readily.

Rush also was a great entertainer and voice for conservatives. However, he always said that his primary concern was to entertain. Tucker is no different.
